The rest of Biarritz was dead this night and found this place which was buzzing. Great atmosphere, noisy and busy but had good service. 4 of us shared a grilled rib of beef with chips which was great( reminiscent of a meal in buenos aires. We Had to be kicked out in the end- good night!

Located next to the indoor market in the city, this is place is very pleasant. Not a great Deco, but very typical, friendly atmosphere People eat at the bar or at tables. The dishes are mostly tapas, varied and top notch. Perfect to discover products from this area.

Great food and vibe during the high season - a real taste of local cuisine. Hectic in a good way, don't expect to be treated like kings, its very busy.

One of the oldest places around the market. Has been redone and has more space, wines and classic tapas. You can also have dinner. Careful it is often crowded and no reservations

I'll never come here again, the food came to our table different than what we ordered, when we complaint to the waitress she played dumb and called the manager/owner and she translated totally what she wanted so she didn't get in trouble, as arrogant as any person can be the owner told us that the food comes as is in... Nice mix of toursits and locals on their way homeStaff stayed focused as the rush built up and didn't hustle us to get the table back. Staff very friendly and happy not to laugh at my french attempts while using their... More

Bar Jean is known since years in Biarritz as the meeting point for locals and visitors. The quality of the tapas is excellent, as well as the service. The atmosphere is also a large plus for the place. It is crowded but in a nice manner. It is popular and the mix of people makes this place one of the... More

Food only okay. There are a lot of restaurants in this area, and lots with good reviews. This is a landmark restaurant, but the menu is small and the food just okay.

This small gem has a great atmosphere, slightly away from the more tourism affects harbour area. While it can be a bit noisy, it feels like a nice place to be and the service is friendly, although not hugely quick when it is busy. The food is very well prepared for the price level and nicely simple and easy. We... More
