Good value and good service.

At 22 euros for a set price 3 course meal we found this good value. The seafood salad with prawns, crab and smoked trout was copious and well presented. Leg of lamb was tasty and cooked just right and served with crispy potatoes. Service was friendly and professional. Good value for an evening... read more

Not a restaurant to make a trip for but quite acceptable on a cold windy evening - pleasant service, typical basque decoration, let down by just about acceptable food, the food seemed to be made more standardised to suit the tourists(as it was a few steps from the centre of town) but you got neither truly authentic basque cooking or... I was there with my husband while staying in Biarritz. We simply loved it. Great local cuisine. The food isn't too rich, is perfectly balanced. The choice of wine is fantastic. Service very attentive. I can guarantee you whenever I am in Biarritz I will go there for dinner. It's a real foodie heaven...

3 course meal for 22 eur , I had the crabmeat - shrimp salad for starter , maincourse the merlu basque and the chocolate dessert , do not forget to order wine, prices here are very reasonable and wines are good.( if you order just a starter and a main course you could end up more expensive than choosing a... We visited this place a few years ago and it has changed from a local restaurant serving local Basque dishes to catering for the tourist trade in a big way. It seems more commercially successful judging by the numbers filling the restaurant but the food is now more "international". I cannot blame anyone for being successful. We all have to... More

Very busy 10 min wait but well worth it. Our host Mailis very attentive bottle of wine 2 steaks 2 starters 4 beers £60 good value. Thank you and thank... More

Called in one very rainy night in December when we were on our way back from Spain to the UK. Not smart but very warm and frienddly. Really tasty local food and a very reasonable price. Nice house red wine, good service and great atmosphere...loved it. Would certainly go back if we stay in Biarritz.

Having read several glowing reviews of this restaurant, we decided to try it on our recent visit to Birritz (a must go city). The resto was crowded: a good sign. From there everything went downhill. I had the set menu and chose the axoa as my main course. I've had this before in other places and I was really looking... More

Attractive restaurant with good service. The set price menu was good value and the food was well cooked and presented if a little unimaginative. I would recommend it for a family or a group of friends.
