Consistently very good!

We've been to the Txango before and it was just as good on this visit. It's in a good location, has a really nice atmosphere and great staff - not to mention food! This time we went for lunch, and it was every bit as good as the dinner we had last time we visited. We both had the menu... read more

They had one beer on draft, a French larger, which had plenty of character. We then went for the 10 tapas for 18 euro. A nice mix between vegetable, fish and meat dishes; all were very tasty - the cooking had a certain class to it. The barman was knowledgeable. My only surprise was when I passed by later in... More

Had dinner here. Very good food - actually more than just good - and service. Wine list was not impressive victory- no really good wines, all wines are low end.

Found our way to Txango on our spring visit to Biarritz. We had the squid and prawns for appetizer, the pork ribs for main course, and gourmet coffee and chocolate & hazelnut nems for dessert. A delicious meal with good portions and a decent price as well . Good service from the waiter and a pro chef made the dinner... More

We ate here this evening, as a result of scanning TripAdvisor restaurant reviews. We are on a four day vacation trip to Biarritz. The weather has been foul. We made the best of it today with a trip to Bayonne for the local museum on the Basque country - a good decision. When we got back to our hotel we... More

The restaurant has a wonderful 3 course menu with a large variety of choices and value for money on all counts. I loved the foie gras starter with chutney and my gingerbread oven baked cod was good enough to lick the plate clean. The vegetables too were fresh and done to perfection. My friend had the lamb which was equally... More

Food: quite amazing! I had squid for appetizer, which was really good with some asian flavors and swordfish for main course and the fish was quite amazing - tender and juicy with unique spices. My spouse had grilled shrimps salad for a starter, which he said was good and lamb for main course, which he noted was probably the best... More

Txango is in a slightly curious road side setting but do not let that put you off. It's full of locals, a great sign. The service is exactly what you want in a restaurant and if you want to meet the chef you can, he's delightful. We had foie gras, squid (a highlight) for starters. For mains we had cod... More

A whole restaurant(10 tables) catered for by one chef and one waiter- no wonder service was a little slow at times. But the food was very good. You will not get Cordon Bleu fare here and it is not that cheap. However the meals are simple, well cooked and tasty and the plate is not overfilled to make it look... More

Ate here with my wife one evening, what a lovely suprise. Tucked away just up from the town centre but very easy to find. Made very welcome by the staff and shown an English menu as soon as they realised we didn't speak French. The food was abslolutley top notch, focusing very much on the flavours but not skimping on...
