Food: quite amazing! I had squid for appetizer, which was really good with some asian flavors and swordfish for main course and the fish was quite amazing - tender and juicy with unique spices. My spouse had grilled shrimps salad for a starter, which he said was good and lamb for main course, which he noted was probably the best... More

Txango is in a slightly curious road side setting but do not let that put you off. It's full of locals, a great sign. The service is exactly what you want in a restaurant and if you want to meet the chef you can, he's delightful. We had foie gras, squid (a highlight) for starters. For mains we had cod... More

A whole restaurant(10 tables) catered for by one chef and one waiter- no wonder service was a little slow at times. But the food was very good. You will not get Cordon Bleu fare here and it is not that cheap. However the meals are simple, well cooked and tasty and the plate is not overfilled to make it look... More

Ate here with my wife one evening, what a lovely suprise. Tucked away just up from the town centre but very easy to find. Made very welcome by the staff and shown an English menu as soon as they realised we didn't speak French. The food was abslolutley top notch, focusing very much on the flavours but not skimping on... Worth a visit, good value, food and ambience. The lamb shank is great with the Haute Medoc. Peel forth beer very refreshing.

We got a warm welcome by the staff and the menu offered not many but interesting alternatives. We found the goose liver very nice and so was the lamb legs we had as main course. This restaurant is really worth visiting.

Due to a strike in san Sebastian we have decided to dine in Biarritz where people have recommended us Txango. Food was more than ok, the waitress was more than helpful and the ambiance was great. Highly recommendable.

Had a really great meal in this characterful restaurant a little off the beaten track in Biarritz! It's well worth the effort of visiting it as its not on the normal "drag" of restaurants in this beautiful town. It was quiet the night we went there, but the food and service were really excellent!! We both had foie gras to... More

An excellent meal (mains = Sea bass & Hake) which followed an incredible started of Crevette Rose on a bed of stirfried vegetables - the vegatables were to die for. It is a limited menu, but I didn't have a problem choosing. Staff and service were excellent - the decor etc were modern. The only negative was the location -... More

Nice environment, modern feel. The food didn't impress though. Had the tapasmenu, and though it didn't tast bad, there was nothing I 'd go back there for. Service was pretty slow. There are many better places to go to in Biarritz!
