Lovely meal in lovely setting in lovely Biarritz. Visited with teenage children mid-August and we all were well pleased with our selections, including duck confit and foie gras starters and steak, prawn risotto (so delicious and beautifully presented) and raspberry macaroon and chocolate fondant for pudding. Everything was freshly cooked and well presented, with portion sizes just right. Delicious cocktails... More

My wife and I ate here on the the last full day in France. We chose the €31 menu and had a starter of asparagus with a breaded but runny yolk egg, salad and ham. The main course was a piece of cod and 3 large prawns on a risotto base. There was an assortment of desserts, a small pineapple... More

This is a very good place to eat, staff are friendly, food is good, wine list and prices are very reasonable. If you are in Biarritz just check it out, it is central and easy to find.

I was able to choose a nice 3-course dinner out of an interesting and varied menu. All courses were well presented and demonstrated a competent kitchen in good form. There is a reasonably wide-ranging wine list, with wines from the area around Biarritz and other parts of the south well-represented, though, for the single diner, the choice of half bottles... More

This restaurant was recommended to us by our hotel receptionist at the Hotel Cafe De Paris. It was extremely busy (on a Wednesday night) and we were given the last table. My husband and I each had 3 courses, all were delightful, tasty and beautifully presented. The service was extremely efficient, professional and friendly. Because the restaurant was busy, there... With a group of ten with kids we have eaten in this restaurant in the center of Biarritz. Food Washington ok, but a bit overpriced, and quality not special and variety very limited. The place was also suspiciously empty. I would not reccomend it.

Our hotel, Edward VII, recommended this restaurant. Many places that I had found on TA were closed, so it was a great find. We had stopped in earlier in the day to make a reservation and when we arrived, they had set up a table with a white tablecloth (the others didn't have that) in a nice corner for us.... More

Disappointing ...... both main courses .. Lamb and scallops at Euro 23 a main arrived far too quickly ... I.e. Within 5 mins of ordering! portions tiny, little veg to accompany main only few slices of non fresh bread in basket ... Not even refilled when we ate all as so hungry ... And bread was stale! Food was served... More

Eating out in Biarritz in the evenings can get pretty expensive, especially off-season when lots of the smaller places are closed, but we really wanted try Chez Ospi after reading great things about them, so we went for lunch to try their €18 lunch menu. We couldn't have been happier! It was a wonderful meal in a friendly setting. The... More

We ate twice at Chez Ospi during our short stay in Biarritz. Both my wife and our friends were enchanted with the classical combinations of crab raviolis and lobster bisque as well as the croustillant of pigs trotters! We had them both times The other dishes were also good although the choice was relatively limited
