I didn't think we would end up eating an Italian meal in Bordeaux but with a kid, we were ultimately destined to a pizza or a pasta! We followed TripAdvisor's advice and chose Positano over Croc Coup a few doors down. We were not disappointed. The food is as good as we have had in Italy. The ciabatta strips for... More

I don't like pizza that much but as my partner and his mum chose pizza I followed suit and I was not disappointed it was delicious. Even though I was full i could not resist the beautiful tiramisu. Do call in and enjoy!

Enthused by the comments on TripAdvisor, we booked for 12.30 yesterday and found the restaurant easily. It is just a minute’s walk round the corner from the “Ste Catherine” tram stop. We knew the aspect would be homely. It was. Very. Like a set from the 60s. There was an unpleasant smell of cleaning fluid as we entered, but it... More

In the last week of our visit to Bordeaux we found this Italian resteraunt. The food was AMAZING!!! We went twice in one week and everything we ordered was simply fantastic. This is a small family run resteraunt and the owners take much pride in what they do. All 4 of us consider ourselves as foodies, we are cultured in... More

My wife and I found this to be a very nice experience. Food was fantastic. We had a pizza and pasta, both very generous serves, with a nice sangiovese. Excellent value and very friendly service. Would happily recommend to anyone looking for Italian in Bordeaux.

Visited the restaurant following good reviews on TA. Fairly basic decor and vitually empty when we first arrived, although the waitress had to check she could fit us in! The reason why became apparent later, not because it was fully booked, but as they were understaffed - just one front of house and one chef! This resulted in long waits... More

Best Italian ive ever had. Caprise salad with foccaccia to start which was simply Devine, then a calzone for my partner which was amazing and he couldn't finish, I had the spaghetti prawns. It was so tasty with bags of flavour, the waitress was friendly and very nice. It's such a shame this place isn't more busy, when it deserves... More

I just read the previous reviews , and I just can't formulate things better. We've had lunch and dinner many times in Italy itself, but when leaving I told the chef that, to my knowledge, he ran the best Italian restaurant in the whole of Western Europe. Highly recommended!
