Very nice restaurant

We had a lovely time at this restaurant and the waiter Xavier was extremly friendly and helpful. I'd never been to a restaurant like this before, where all its dishes include or focus on cheese. I think if you like cheese you would like this restaurant. My boyfriends only compliant was that some of... read more

We were told about this wonderful little restaurant by one of the locals whom we met in the local chocolate shop (also wonderful). She told us that most tourists don't know about it, but that it was reasonably priced and great if you like cheeses, which we do. The chef Benjamin was very welcoming and knowledgable. It has a beaut... More

This place was recommended by our wine guide as well as in the Lonely Planet for the cheese buffet. Now, the cheese buffet was not cheap at EUR32 per person but was definitely worth it - I've not had so much cheese in my life !! You could easily spend an evening here just on the holy trinity of wine,... More

The decor was funky. The host a congenial comic with excellent English. The wine and cheese choice enormous. The food was good but not great. Some highlights like the cheese tapas but we were both 'cheesed' out by the end. I would return but make sure I had a main meal without too much cheese.

We almost got lost on our way to Baud et Millet, being new to Bordeaux. We were attracted to it because the restaurant was reputed to have a fine collection of local wine and cheese. We did not make a booking, but when we entered (a little bedraggled from a long walk) Patrice gave us both an enthusiastic welcome. He... More

We visited this restaurant on a Friday evening in February 2015 and it was lovely, but be under no illusion; this place is for the cheese lover, and it helps if you like wine as well. Nearly all the dishes feature cheese as the main ingredient, or the only ingredient. We had the fondue, an easy choice, and there was... More

From the off this was the sort of place that we want to visit again and again, when we arrived we were welcomed by Patrice who was great all evening well informed about the food that he was serving and life in general. The boss who was with friends took time to speak to us and helped overall to make... More

Great, great wine and cheeses and a format you don't often see: choose a bottle of something special and build your meal (albeit cheese-related) around it. The cooking has a touch of rusticality about it, but that -with cheese - eg the tartiflette or the morilles bake - is what makes it so great. Downsides: - I do think both... More

Fun meal, with staff who love their wine and cheeses. Cheese cellar has 100s of varieties. Great fun
