Deservedly popular

This is a lovely little brasserie on Place du Parlement - much less conspicuous than the others that crowd the square but, I wager, rather better. A perfect risotto and excellent Charolais beef.

OK this restaurant is in popular tourist land, but as it had quite a few locals in business suits, and as it was very popular, being one of the few restaurants with places in the shadow at lunchtime, I got the last table available on their terrace. Service was ok. The starter was a delicious cucumber gazpacho, but I had... More

My friends & I dined here on a Friday night. Quentin did an excellent job translating the menu to English and making us feel comfortable. The food was spectacular. Among the 3 of us we tried the veggie & asparagus appetizer, the pork special, cod, hamburger & desserts. Everything was flavorful & delicious. A fabulous dining experience!

We enjoyed our meal in this restaurant, the food was good but found the service mixed. Our male waiter was very friendly and cheery but the female waitress was miserable, unfriendly and bordering on very rude!

Really poor food. The fois gras was watery, the os a moelle not cooked enough. The risotto was not a rissoto.inside smell of toilettes. Staff was friendly, location is good but food is horrible. I would not recommend this place.

The entrees were delightful, the plats were grand, especially the porc Basque style. Lovely wine, kind service. What more could you want?

The restaurant was recommended to me by the hotel staff, they said the food was good and all local produce was used - food was really good, had the paté for starter and an excellent piece of cod for entree. Fairly good value for the money, service not exceptional, but then a woman alone never gets really good service...Would definitely... More

We ate very well! The Saint Jacques shells are delicious : really nice texture. And for the risotto as well...So "cremoso"! The service is good ; good timing for the arrival of the dishes at the table and very polite people. About the dessert, cocoa' amateurs ...Attention!!! Here it is : An ephemeral sphere of chocolate, that you have to... More

Me and a friend went here to try and get a nice Bordelais cuisine- we heard about Chez Philippe, which I believe used to be the previous owner of the restaurant, who was reputed for having good oysters. Well, no oysters on the menu. Whoops. We ordered the fixed menu- Brie tempura for an appetizer and the lamb for the... More
