We unfortunately ate here last summer. If awful food and awful service are what you enjoy, then please ignore me and carry on. In a country that is famed and revered for its cuisine the world over, this dump is just plainly an embarrassment. The food is truly inedible, with not one of us finishing a course. The waiters were... More

My friend and I went here our first night in Bordeaux. The atmosphere was fun and the waiters were friendly. I was surprised by the large portions. We did a menu and it cost just under 20 Euros per person, very cheap! The vegetable basket with dip was fun and different. The food is not gourmet but a fun place... More

I am glad I didn't read the reviews before I came here, because if I did, I might have chosen not to eat here. We had just arrived in France and were only in Bordeaux one night. We walked around the old part of the city, thought this place looked good, and it was. We ordered off the fixed price... More

Good place to eat with a group of friend, not a place for a romantic tête à tête. live guitarist was fun if you're up for a singalong to random French songs.... Food not too bad starters and mains, though letdown by the seemingly industrial deserts..

We were suggested again to go in the old part of Bordeaux to have dinner and it was our first dinner in the city. Despite the name that means "redneck's", so maybe an implicit advice not go, the food was not bad. We chose 2 different menus- one vegetarian and the other with meat- I must say that, except for... The starters were OK. The pork was overcooked. The onion soup was supposed to be "au gratin". The well-done beef was rare, and we had to grill it again twice.... The waiting-time between the main course and the dessert was very long. After almost 1 hour waiting for our desserts, we asked the waitress for an explanation, and she was... More

I came here twice and really enjoyed it both times. The food was well priced and you get what you pay for. I had their menu both times. All the dishes I had were excellent but simple, just what you would expect for 14 and 21 euros. It's a very lively atmosphere. The first time I went, there was a... More

It was our second night in Bordeaux and had had a long day wandering around the city and just wanted somewhere to eat that was not at all stuffy with some good basic grub. We had passed this place the night before and thought it looked fun. We shared the fois gras and both had the cassoulet for mains. Good... More

During a fantastic long weekend in Bordeaux, my wife and I had the worst ever meal experience we have ever had, at this establishment. Rude staff, who were more interested in going outside for a smoke than serving their clients, food was terrible, Cold on arrival and when it came back it was microwaved, meat was tough, salad was bland...
