What a wonderful concept for introducing Bordeauxs outstanding wines to everyone who takes the time to visit this region. Bar a vin has a selected list of wine types available by the glass to taste, of your chosen selection. The wines available are changed monthly and by the vintage so so that you can learn to distinguish between the flavours... More

In central Bordeaux, this lovely place is classy and fun. Excellent selection of wines and very interesting architecture and artwork. Prices are reasonable. When in Bordeaux it's an excellent stop.

This was next to my hotel and a great place to try Bordeaux wines with a nice menu of appetizer plates to pair with them. I had the cheese and was very good. Service could of been better, as it was busy for just 2 waiters.

Great place close to the Grand Theatre. Great wine at great prices. We went back 3 times in one day, using it as a base to explore the area. Definitely recommend is you love your wine ;-)

Great wines ranging from 2.50 eur to 9 eur. Went with a group of 4 friends. We each had 2 glasses of wine and shared 2 appetizers (foie gras and goat cheese), we each payed approx 10 eur total. Well worth the visit! Great start to our Bordeaux adventure!

This place serves some seriously good wines from not only France. I even spotted an Aussie wine. Samples are available in 3 different volumes and well priced. A tapas food menu is available but if you wan a la carte there are only 2 entrees, 2 mains and 2 or 3 deserts. This menu is changed daily. We had langoustine... More

Our hosts at Beau Sejour recommended this wine bar in the center of Bordeaux. It's directly across from the main Tourist Information office, a block away from the Grand Theatre. As with many other wine bars, you can order from a long list of Bordeaux area wines. It offers small folders with the winery names that you can use for... More

This is a great place to try local wines served in beautiful glasses in a very trendy setting. The Stained glass work details the journey of the grapes from vineyard to bottle.Waiters are very attentive. The food is not the reason to go here. Cheese and charcuterie plates are pre prepared. The reason to go is the wine, and what a selection. There is... More

We stumbled across this bar just walking through town and stopped in. It was a beautiful room and the staff was helpful and friendly, assisting us with picking wines to try. This was a great way to try several great wines from the region without having to invest in a bottle that you may or may not like. We didn't... More

This is a great place bang on in the heart of the city. Wines by the glass are cheap and appropriately priced so you can try a couple and have a proper taste of bordeaux wines. We had a wide range from bubblies (crémant) to proper heavy reds. Food is available in the form of cheese platters and charcuterie. One... More
