I first went to Fufu only days after it opened. I was bowled over. Three Japanese chefs worked at roaring woks in front of me as I sat at the bar. The menu is short. The food is fresh and freshly prepared. And delicious. There are no tablecloths, waiters hovering or three-course menus. There is excellent Bordeaux wine, served by... More

Good modern Japanese, it is not meant to be a traditional Japanese, don't know why anyone walking in and seeing the decor and menu would think so. Fresh, clean ingredients, pleasant service, good vibe, nice young crowd, don't go if you don't like what you see before you walk in, it's busy enough without you.

I went with a group of friends to try this out. Like others, we were tired of heavy French cuisine, wanted something cheaper, and the idea of finding some gem of of Japanese place in Bordeaux added to the allure. Besides, just being able to talk about eating Japanese food makes us all seem more sophisticated, right? If you insist... More

I agree that it is a real japanese place! Food is excellent and the service is good. Japanese kindness and reduced space as in Tokyo. I loved it!

The closest you can be to Tokyo. Good japanese noodles. Everything on the menu is good. HUGE plates: come with a serious appetite. Expect to wait at peak hours. You can order to go.

This place really is great. Funky as hell, good food and reasonable prices however make sure you get in early as it fills up really quick. If you miss a spot then they also do take-away and there are plenty of lovely places nearby to enjoy the food.

After a weeklong tour of the top chateaux and Michelin starred restaurants, the ramen tasted really really good with a Sapporo beer, an authentic Japanese noodle shop in the heart of Bordeaux City, cheap and good. Opens at noon, Ramen 8 Euro.

Had a cold in Bordeaux and this was just what the doctor ordered. Hearty soup, fresh noodles & tasty pork with rice, washed down with a beer from the tap. Very restorative.

This ramen shop is very good. This is best one in France, so far. Not only ramen but also Tonkatsu is wonderful, almost same as Japanese one. You must try, if you want to feel real Japanese food in France.

The dish was ok, but they brought the bottle of coke already opened and it was without gaz. Looks like they reused the bottle, it was disgusting.
