Great good, slow service

The food was great here, the salads are huge! However, the service is very very slow. The first time we went, we waited 45 minutes to order, when the waiter kept saying he would come and take it. We had to leave as it took too long. We went back and the service again was very slow! Took a long... read more

Returning again after 18 months, new management and friendly staff. Stylish New decor eg love the giant plant pot toilet ! Great food for a great price.. Set menu was great and the deserts divine. Most enjoyable afternoon in this lovely tranquil setting.

So at the time I had been craving some red meat, and I thought I had found the perfect dish when I saw 'salade de berger'. As someone who had been taking french classes for a while now, I should have realised that it had nothing to do with a burger. Despite the mix up on my behalf the meal... More

Never thought this would be up to much (after expensive coffees etc in the summer), but was proved very wrong. Decor and atmosphere are excellent (the plant-pot kitchen and loo take a little getting used to...), service very good (we were with friends who have two small sons, and they were excellently attended to) and the linch menu, at just... Bordeaux is a city to wander around in. Thus to find this place, unexpectedly, when legs and feet start to tire, was really nice. Nice staff, fast and good service, good food and a warm and nice smile from our waitress when we asked if we could have the coffee at the terrace in the lounge chair (where we fell... More

It's a nice place next to the public garden. At the beginning it remind me of Tavern on the Green at NYC's Central Park; but apart from the nice location this is worst by far. Food is not good, waitresses are rude and the choice is limited.

Warm day, nice to sit out in great setting, tomato and mozz salad, proper buffalo cheese, sweet delicious tomatoes with great touch of rasberry vinegar, delicious bread. Magret canard, beautifully cooked as was entrecote, proper french fries, and creamy hot pepper sauce. All served by an excellent and patient waitress. Really enjoyed, will be going again at least once.

Seeing as this in a park where (probably) quite some tourists have a walk, I wasn't expecting much. But the salads we ordered were very rich. The location is great when you can sit outside, as you have a view on the park. But luckily there are sunscreens for shade.

My wife and I love walking through the park so we had to try this restaurant. My wife had a Caesar salad and my salad had geziers, duck confit and ham. My wife enjoyed her salad but I found mine a bit unbalanced.

6 policeman, 2 hours of arguing, threat of being thrown into jail over 21euro we definitely wouldnt recommend this restaurant. Wife ordered beef burger for her and our 1year old , after eating a corner we saw that the meat patty was raw so asked them to cook it properly. Came back same thing so we turned it away. Bill...
