My wife and I love walking through the park so we had to try this restaurant. My wife had a Caesar salad and my salad had geziers, duck confit and ham. My wife enjoyed her salad but I found mine a bit unbalanced.

6 policeman, 2 hours of arguing, threat of being thrown into jail over 21euro we definitely wouldnt recommend this restaurant. Wife ordered beef burger for her and our 1year old , after eating a corner we saw that the meat patty was raw so asked them to cook it properly. Came back same thing so we turned it away. Bill... While we have not dined at L'orangerie, we have made it a place to stop for a glass or wine or beer or coffee when ever possible. The views over the Jardin Public are special. The staff is great and we will make this a stop for all visitors to our new home in Bordeaux. Lunch will happen soon, just... More

The fixed price menu is a steal - ours had lobster and turbot, among the three courses. The salads were generous and the wine list well balanced on price. Service was very friendly too. The restaurant sits on a low balcony overlooking the garden, so the outlook was good too. As it was 90+ degrees F, being under the large... More

We sat for over an hour before we received our food. It is complete chaos with half of the orders being sent back because they are wrong. Beautiful location and looks great but truly appalling service and the staff just don't care!

Wandered into this place while walking through the beautiful gardens. Lovely setting, nice salads and waiters very friendly and welcoming. Could have done without all the children running around and the ubiquitous smokers.

A perfect location for lunch, a snack, an apertif and for people watching in general. This restaurant is ideally located in a gorgeous part of the Jardin Public, one of the oldest gardens in this part of France. The first trees were planted in 1749 with the formal English gardens added by Napoleon III. It is one of my favorite... More

This cafe/restaurant is in a beautiful park in Bordeaux. The park is a must if you are travelling with children BUT this restaurant is terrible! The fries were cold, the mozarella in the 'grande salad' was not fresh (so old it was yellow), and the white house wine was like drinking vinegar. Such a nice location. We were all served... More
