One of the best meals I have had world wide. The veal was absolutely divine. Well presented food and very good portion size. The food is understated but very well seasoned, incredibly tasty and the ingredients shine. We had entre/main/dessert for 39 euro per head. I recommend the veal, snails and the cheesecake. The pigeon was gamey and well cooked.... More

Very decent quality fare at very respectable price. Lovely escargots. Nice fish - cod loin, also trout with almonds, were good. Both came with rather stereotyped vegetables - beautifully done cone of saffron rice and roast potato wedges. Desserts of sorbet and crème brulée were nice. Pleasant, attentive waiter.

At Le Bouchon Bordelais (the cork from Bordeaux), I play the nice game. I’d been there the night before, to find a full restaurant, but when asked if we wanted to make a reservation for the next night was too flustered to do it. The next morning, realising that we were free, and would love to eat there, I sent... More

On the corner of a side street is this very busy small restaurant. Only broken English spoken by the three waiters who served us but our choices were explained and our wishes catered for. Quite expensive but just worth it. However, when I was waiting at the counter to pay my bill I could see into the kitchen. They were... More

This little bistrot on a lane behind the Grand Theatre was recommended to us by the fine winemaker at Clos la Madeleine, of Saint-Emilion Grand Cru fame. We love the casual, friendly ambiance, matched perfectly with superb local Bordelais cuisine. To start, the wine list on the black board is, needless to say, all Bordeaux. Not from the big wine... Probably our favorite dinner at bordeaux (we were here for 4 nights and ate out twice a day). We had some great starters and the côte de bœuf for two people. The meat was served medium as we asked and tasted very good. Portions are nice. Service is great. It can get extremely hot in summer, and like a lot... More

I was the first dinner we had in Bordeaux. Friendly waitress, good food and nice environment. We had great evening there. 菜色不是很多,不过味道不错。环境很好,服务也友好。

Another hotel and TA recommendation, we enjoyed the ambiance here a lot. Service was attentive but like most French restaurants, we were able to enjoy a leisurely dinner. My husband really liked the lamb and my beef was tasty, although I wish I had ordered it more than just medium as it was very rare. The wine selection was excellent... More

We ate here on our last night in Bordeaux and wished we had time to come back again. It was a rainy night so we sat inside, although some of the outdoor tables were occupied by brave diners. We were welcomed by a wonderful woman who seated us and made us feel at home. The restaurant is small, with stone... More

The is a great place for a steak. You can choose your cut of steak and they go away and cook it to your liking. We also had the selection of charcuterie to start with and it was excellent! The atmosphere is great, you share long tables, although it was fairly quiet when we went. Would highly recommend this place... More
