An Experience to Enjoy

We were a party of eight friends spending an overnight stay in Bordeaux. We decided to go at lunchtime to sample some italian wines. Everyone should try this Wine Bar. We had an assortment of meats and cheeses served with the wines. The mascapone cheese was to die for. None of us had ever... read more

Unfortunately not the best service we have received in Bordeaux. We were unceremoniously asked to move tables after we had settled, and it was only for a group with one additional diner. There was another vacant table available they could have occupied. We proceeded to move table to avoid a fuss and then when we asked to order wine we... More

Dear customer, we 've received you as every customer, with courtesy, and we also have kindly asked to move in a different table, because of two people sitted in a big table designed for six. As written on a big pannel sticked at the door and on the menu too, we've a license of restaurant, we can’t serve alcoholics drinks... More

I really can't say enough about this place! These lovely folks are absolute foodies and are passionate about sharing their knowledge, love and delicious food and wine selections with their guests. A must-visit when you're in Bordeaux and booking is recommended.

Came across Le Wine Bar by chance today - what a lovely surprise - a wine bar but so much more. We had an excellent bottle of wine, cheese and meat plates which were delicious, all served up with a friendly and helpful slice of French hospitality! A great start to our weekend in Bordeaux - we will be back!

They have a very nice selection of wines and the staff is friendly and helpful. They also have very good small plates of ham, cheese, pate, and the desert I had was also good. Highly recommended. If you want to try several wines you can order by the half glass.

We are a couple from Australia...after seeing great reviews we popped our head in for a wine and some cold cuts...the owner was brilliant...very charismatic and looked after us from the get go...all the meats were beautiful and we trusted him with the wines and they matched perfectly...would highly recommend going for either a quick drink or a long evening... Charming wine bar with great wines and excellent service of the waiters. Both food and wines are high level and worth the price.

We stopped here after an early dinner for a last fine glass of wine before leaving Bordeaux. Didn't disappoint! They have a big wine list, but too many international wines in my point of view. We had a vintage red St Emilion wine from 2009 which was great - highly recommended. Unfortunately this is more of a restaurant and you... More

We went here on recommendation from our tour guide, Elodie. For a great selection of wines by the bottle and glass - this is the place. Limited food options but good if you're up just to share some cold cuts or cheese.
