As an opening statement, I travel around the world and eat very frequently at high-end restaurants, probably 2-3 times a week for both business and pleasure, hence, I know bit about a good food and good service. At this time we stayed 3 nights in the Grand Hotel in Bordeaux for our holiday so we decided to eat at Le... More

Good choice. Great service. The lobster presse is a must. Everything is good. The seabass apettizer with aquitaine caviar is gorgeous as the wine list. The prices are fair. The nice location is in the Grand Hotel de Bordeaux

We were sorely disappointed with the food after having received recommendations. We ordered their famous pressed lobster and I would have preferred the lobster simply boiled and served with butter as it would have been better than what we were given. They have a terrific wine list but that is not saying very much in Bordeaux since most of the... More

Dear guest, I am sincerely sorry to learn that your last experience in the Pressoir d’Argent Restaurant has caused you to write this disappointing review. This comment, unlike so many of our recent TripAdvisor appraisals, has disappointed me, as well as the Restaurant and Kitchen teams. To be clear about lobster press, we propose two differents way to put the... More

What more can be said then civilized, impeccable service, incredible flavors and presentation, and a dining experience to be remembered. This will be a regular stop each trip to Bordeaux. I can not recall a 1 star Michelin restaurant that should be elevated to 2 stars. Its pricey, but incredible quality in food and service is worthy.

We visited Le Pressoir D'argent when we visited Bordeaux, last september. It was really an excellent dinner and it was better then I had expected to be honest. We stayed at the Regent Grand Hotel, and usually restaurants in big hotels don't live up to standards. However, the evening was enormously enjoyable and very atmospheric. The waiters were all very... Came for dinner twice in May 2012 and thoroughly enjoyed both dinner meals. We had the degustation menu and found the food, presentation and service excellent. Compared to what we pay back home in Singapore for such fine dining food, this place was value for money.

Drove from Madrid specifically to eat at this restaurant and stay in this hotel after consulting our usually trusted Michelin guide only to be absolutely dissatisfied and disappointed in every way! A beautiful hotel and restaurant with stuffy atmosphere with incapable surly patronising staff with attitudes far above their station generally! It took 3 attempts to serve me a Campari,orange...
