Small quiet family owned restaurant a few steps away from Rue St Catherine. One single word to describe the food and service: Exceptional! The place has a list of Foie Gras dishes as part of their menu or a la carte, worth every euro. The special fig desert was one of a kind. Very nice list of regional wines.

We booked this restaurant having seen it full when walking past. The restaurant offers all the local food such as Foie Gras and Entrecôte. We opted for the top price three course menu at 38 euros each as we liked the choices. We both went for Foie Gras and I have to say how delicious it was. Part of it... More

I was on holiday with my mum in Bordeaux and was looking for a restaurant on trip advisor when I came across 'Le Loup'. We immediately went there and weren't surprised by its good reviews. It is small and cozy and is situated in a quiet road which is part of its calm atmosphere. We were served (by lovely staff)... More

Small, charming restaurant with friendly service and good food. Nothing fancy but good value for the money. Scallop main course very good.

This is a small, intimate restaurant. It was like being in someone's dining room. We weren't packed in like sardines which was a nice change. The decor is very French and slightly vintage/classic style. The maitre de was lovely and the food was to die for; little works of art on a plate and tasted divine. Go there!

Le Loup, a quiet restaurant, was a great first meal in Bordeaux, traditional food, prepared very well, with very attentive wait-staff. Unlike our other meals in bordeaux, my parents found this one while walking along the street, and it was a great find. Great wines (and beautiful decanters), good local food and one of the few small restaurants with more... More

My friend and I had a very pleasant experience at "Le Loup" in Bordeaux. We had the opportunity to taste an excellent "cantaloupe-mint-ginger" cold soup while waiting our order. Then very tasty 3 course meals with a good red Sancerre wine for a decent price. The chef has the know-how to marry simple ingredients to create very tasty and delicate... More

Le Loup is a rare mix of excellent, original cuisine, and friendly service. It is difficult to describe exactly what we had, because each plate was a surprising mix of ingredients which I couldn't have imagined put together. Suffice it to say that it was a delight to all senses, and it only cost 27 Euro for a 3 course... More
