Small, charming restaurant with friendly service and good food. Nothing fancy but good value for the money. Scallop main course very good.

This is a small, intimate restaurant. It was like being in someone's dining room. We weren't packed in like sardines which was a nice change. The decor is very French and slightly vintage/classic style. The maitre de was lovely and the food was to die for; little works of art on a plate and tasted divine. Go there!

Delicious, simple and very French set lunch menu was just what we were looking for. Carafe of red wine to go with it and we were very happy It's cosy and the service is friendly too Well worth a visit for a lazy, satisfying lunch

Le Loup, a quiet restaurant, was a great first meal in Bordeaux, traditional food, prepared very well, with very attentive wait-staff. Unlike our other meals in bordeaux, my parents found this one while walking along the street, and it was a great find. Great wines (and beautiful decanters), good local food and one of the few small restaurants with more... More

My friend and I had a very pleasant experience at "Le Loup" in Bordeaux. We had the opportunity to taste an excellent "cantaloupe-mint-ginger" cold soup while waiting our order. Then very tasty 3 course meals with a good red Sancerre wine for a decent price. The chef has the know-how to marry simple ingredients to create very tasty and delicate... More

Le Loup is a rare mix of excellent, original cuisine, and friendly service. It is difficult to describe exactly what we had, because each plate was a surprising mix of ingredients which I couldn't have imagined put together. Suffice it to say that it was a delight to all senses, and it only cost 27 Euro for a 3 course... More

Tripadvisor's reviews were spot on. Four of us enjoyed a wonderful evening and were served food that had an array of flavours, that were well presented, by one of the owners. The restaurant is intimate and delightful. We favoured a locally produced Bordeaux region white and a red and were not disappointed.

In a group of 4 friends we had a very good 3-course meal. The appetizers were very nice, the main course with side dishes delicious and the desserts excellent. The wine was nice and the final price for 4 was under 35 euros. The service was friendly but maybe slightly slow.

My boyfriend and I had a delicious 3 course meal here for 29EUR each. Our appetizers were leeks and cheese as well as a tartine with ham and cheese. The mains were rabbit and lamb - fabulous sauces and potato dauphinoise. Desserts were creme brulee and profiteroles. The wine selection is fairly priced too. Some of the best French food... More
