We visited La Casuccia twice in our recent visit to Bordeaux and were not disappointed- a pleasant and relaxing ambience, we were always greeted warmly, seated efficiently and given English menus! Pizzas are generous in size and very tasty. The pasta also came with parmesan cheese and bread! The second visit was on a bleak and cool night where the... More

I've been to this restaurant several times & each time ate a pizza. The pizza are good, but the toppings are not very generous. I've never tried the menu so cannot compare. The major default with this restaurant is that they do not serve wine in carafes. It's either by the glass or in bottles, which quickly bumps up the... More

The waiting staff were friendly and efficient and the restaurant had the lively ambience of most pizzerias. I ordered the Aglio - which came out as carbonara sauce with burnt garlic scattered over the pasta - yuk. My husband's lasagne was microwaved and the post office red bottled sauce did nothing to make this dish tasty or look appetising. Whilst... More

Took their most expensive menu, the surprise de chef was nice (shrimp, salmon, pate and breast of duck with vegetables, main course (entrecote) good and the dessert (profiterolles) good as well. The Bordeaux red I had was also good. Staff was friendly and professional.

This was the restaurant that had the nicest people I saw in France. French people are not very friendly, but this was a exception. The pizzas were good.

We found that small Restaurant by accident during a stopover in Bordeaux. The atmosphere is absolutly nice and the service friendly. We chose the 3 step menu for a very reasonable price of 15€. Without any big expectations we was surprised by the great quality and taste of any single dish. I can easily count the Pizza Mediterranean into my... More

Had an ordinary pizza at this restaurant. Did not find this restaurant particularly memorable, therefore I was surprised to notice that this restaurant has got very good reviews. If you want a pizza, it's not a bad choice, but there is nothing spectacular with it. Head to the restaurant next door instead, Brasserie Bordelaise, which I highly recommend.

A popular restaurant, not exactly Italian run, but fab pizzas (so says my wife). Good food Italian style, lovely interior, reasonably priced and Beatrice at front of house is efficiency personnified - she always remembers us, even though we just show up for two weeks each year! Pete Y
