While visiting or do we checked trip advisor for answers and recommendations for restaurants. The reviews were incredibly helpful. Unlike yelp, where some of the reviews are hidden, trip advisor shows all reviews. This restaurant was amazing!

Cozy restaurant with great food. That night, the place was full (about 8 tables) and being served by one very busy, but efficient, waitress. Delicious boneless chicken leg specialty. And really good desserts!

Just now came back from this restaurant... We were the only non-locals. Our tour guide from today made the reservation for us. The meals were delicious and desserts even more-so! I had the meringue atop a killer raspberry sorbet w whipped creme surrounded by raspberry sauce. Hubby had a chocolate mouse layered w thin chocolate slices. Amazing.

We had the 32 euro four course menu. Starting with delicious amuse Bouche, then Entrée, main, cheese and desert. Perhaps a little too much food, but every course delicious and beautifully presented. Good wine list with several choices in every price range. A thoroughly enjoyable evening at a very reasonable price. Full of locals and repeat guests. Booking is recommended.

Family-run place, nice atmosphere, good service. Excellent food, 5 courses for 38 euros, there was an amuse-bouche. My husband has celiac disease and gluten-free meal was no problem even of the 5 course menu. I would warn that for a menu like this there was an awful lot of food. Too much for me, but for young people, and men... More

Deserves the high ranking. Warmly greeted by two charming ladies. Lovely room, touch of elegance. The 32 euro menu is well balanced with interesting choices. An amuse bouche to start, set the mood. The best amuse, ever! Service is a bit slow but not so slow as to be frustrating and it was a full house with everyone arriving pretty... More

The cuisine at this little 24-seat jewel box of a restaurant is so good and so reasonable, the locals keep it packed. Last year we had to wait three weeks for a dinner reservation. But we noticed something incredible. For lunch Chef Xavier Durin offers a "formula menu" for 18 euros 50 cents. The entire menu is there but for... More

The French have a saying about especially good wine that you tend to recall later: "Un vin memorable". Our meal at Croc-Loup was memorable in that sense. Superb food, moderately priced, excellent service etc. The one caveat, if you go in the summer: No a/c and no good airflow; it was borderline stifling. The food more than made up for... More

My wife and I had been in France for about three weeks when we tried this gem of a restaurant. The food in other restaurants ( carefully chosen ) had been to a high standard but as avid foodies, we have sometimes been left wanting quantity wise. Not this time, Croc Loup's servings are not only very tasty but are... More
