We have had dinner here and went for the menu option. It was delicious and filling. The restaurant was 100% full and there was only one waitress, but she was keeping it up and service was fast. Do note that it can get extremely hot in summer, and like a lot of places in France, there is no air conditioning... More

I found this restaurant by chance while on holiday in Bordeaux last year. I was so impressed with both the food and service that booked again for lunch on the last day. I visited Bordeaux again in January this year and had dinner here with my mother. The waitress was very pleasant and polite and the service was both attentive... More

We read about this on tripadvisor. We had the best meal we've ever had. The hostess was attentive, efficient and friendly, whilst concurrently training two apprentices. The apprentices were both great, and we assume they will do well, given the skills of their trainer. Our meals were perfect.

I was in Bordeaux for business and a coworker made the reservation for us. It's a very small and quaint restaurant with about 6-8 tables capacity and the French take their time at dinner expect 3hr+ so make sure you can get a reservation. Walk in have little chance unless you do it super early or try lunch. The food... More

Exactly the kind of little out of the way resto one hopes to find but rarely does. The lunch menu at €18 was the bargain of my stay in France, comprising a crab mousse, a boneless chicken stuffed with wild mushrooms in a bordelais sauce and baked fruit feuillete. The server was charming, even though she had to cope with... More

We were looking forward to our dinner at Croc Loup considering how high it was ranked on Tripadvisor. We don't know what happened... might it have been a bad day for the chef? France lost to Germany that day in the World Cup, but we didn't think it would affect our meal. The apertif and the dessert were the highlights... More

Had dinner her tonight while spending a few days in Bordeaux definitely one of the best meals I've had so far. Would need to reserve a seat in advance. The girl serving could not be any more helpful and spoke English which was a great help. Found it great value for money and the quality of food very good. Will... More

We reserved for a Saturday night, knowing that the restaurant would be full. The food was indeed excellent, especially the signature dish of salade de casserons (baby cuttlefish) and so was the wine. The problem was the service - and this is NOT to say the waitress didn't do well, all by herself, she ran like crazy and managed the... More

I was visiting with 7 others in Bordeaux for a week. We tried lots of good restaurants, but when we ate here near the end of the trip, we all agreed we had to come back our last night! I almost never return to the same restaurant in a week because I want to try new places, but this one... More
