Amazing attention to detail

After a terrible experience eating out in Bordeaux we reverted to trip advisor to find this little gem and were not disappointed. This small restaurant is located on a cobbled street in the old town of Bordeaux. From the exterior this place is unpretentious and inside is charming and bright. We didn't book, however were eating at lunchtime and the... More

We read the great reviews on TA, and booked a table for two a couple of days in advance. Every expectation of ours was met! The lady who took care of everything in the front was very nice and efficient, the food was beautiful and very nice, and when we left, we were stuffed. The St. Emilion Grand Cru red... More

This is a little gem of a place. The service is excellent, one lady does everything front of house and she is possibly the most efficient woman I have ever seen in a restaurant. We misunderstood the 3 course/4 course offerings which was a good thing - if we had gone for the 4 course we would have been absolutely... More

The food was absolutely fabulous! An absolute highlight of our vacation! We were welcomed real friendly and were served quickly and professionally. The first course was outstanding already. But the main dish was absolutely excellent!

We went there after reading the trip advisor rating and all our expectations were met: fabulous food, extremely friendly service and nice setting. It was the highlight of our short Bordeaux stay. Booking beforehand is recommended!

This small resturant down a small cobbled street in the Old Town of Bordeaux is one of the few resturants in the world that you must not miss. It is very unpretentious from the outside but inside it is charming and light. It is essential to book. The maitre d' who is also the waitress is a charming young lady... More

This is a small restaurant in central Bordeaux. During our 2 week trip to the Dordogne region this was the best. Every item of food was cooked perfectly. The ravioli was outstanding. The paired wine, a white Bordeaux (Chateau Lagrange) was excellent. The cook welcomed us in person. It was completely filled, so it was a good thing we had... More

We ate here last night, having booked sometime ago. Easy to book and we confirmed last week via email. Very pleasant to deal with. The venue is small, pretty and very comfortable. The young lady who served us was really excellent and made our evening a memorable one. The food was very good, generous serves of fresh and well cooked... More
