Dinner with friends

We went there after reading the trip advisor rating and all our expectations were met: fabulous food, extremely friendly service and nice setting. It was the highlight of our short Bordeaux stay. Booking beforehand is recommended!

This small resturant down a small cobbled street in the Old Town of Bordeaux is one of the few resturants in the world that you must not miss. It is very unpretentious from the outside but inside it is charming and light. It is essential to book. The maitre d' who is also the waitress is a charming young lady... More

This is a small restaurant in central Bordeaux. During our 2 week trip to the Dordogne region this was the best. Every item of food was cooked perfectly. The ravioli was outstanding. The paired wine, a white Bordeaux (Chateau Lagrange) was excellent. The cook welcomed us in person. It was completely filled, so it was a good thing we had... More

We ate here last night, having booked sometime ago. Easy to book and we confirmed last week via email. Very pleasant to deal with. The venue is small, pretty and very comfortable. The young lady who served us was really excellent and made our evening a memorable one. The food was very good, generous serves of fresh and well cooked... More

Quaint spot in Vieux Bordeaux. A bit difficult to find with all the construction in town but worth every mouthful.

After reading previous reviews we booked croc loup and were delighted with our experience. The food was excellently cooked and presented with much larger portion sizes than we are used to in restaurants in our region of France. Wine was good and not too expensive. The two ladies serving were very friendly and helpful. I recommend booking as they were... More

I had a really bad experience in this restaurant because the servant is not very kind, the rest is Ok and a litter bit expensive for this kind of restaurant. Won't came back again.

This is a small restaurant - capacity around 30. There is not much space between tables and no hanging area for coats. Staff are welcoming and service is very good. Unsurprisingly, given the location, the wine list is better than average and not over-priced. We tried the lunchtime "formule" which has a choice of 5 starters followed by 3 main... More

This is a wonderful restaurant in the older part of Bordeaux, which despite being small, never feels packed or crowded. Even though it isn't, it feels like it's family run and the service was excellent. We had the five course menu and particularly enjoyed the cuttlefish ravioli, the rest of the food was also delicious but the above dish particularly... More

My wife and I visited Croc Loup on the penulimate day of a short trip to Bordeaux, we spend a lot of time travelling and love to dine out, I have to confess to having a real interest in local cuisines and will sample them at every possible opportunity! Croc Loup is a smallish restaurant in Bordeaux's old city, it... More
