After seeing the good reviews on trip advisor, we put croc loup on our short-list for Bordeaux and could only get in on our last day, Saturday. With only 29 places booking is essential which is not surprising given food, ambiance and service of the highest order. Nice little restaurant with a great wine list. The food was very good, and the foie was the best I had in France. Service was very good. She got a little slammed when the place filled up, but she still stayed on top of everything.

After two weeks in SW France we’d eaten at a lot of nice restaurants but this was the best meal we’d had. It’s a small restaurant run by a husband and wife team. Lovely service and lovely food. Please go. (Booking probably advisable.)
