Wonderful little restaurant

What a great find! This was one of the best meals we had in Strasbourg, during our 4-day stay. We selected La Cuiller a Pot based on many reviews and booked a table for two for the evening when we passed by one afternoon. By dinner time, we had an extra friend coming but the hostess (who is the... read more

Good luck. Reservation only which makes sense. But, try setting it up on your own it tough. The phone recording is runs with out clear direction. Don't try to walk in. Even if the tables are empty, expect to get turned away. I can understand turning folks away since they're dining experience takes awhile. Come dressed not like a casual... More

My husband and I had dinner here during our May trip to Strasbourg. We ate upstairs where it is small and intimate. The restaurant is decorated very well and you can tell there was a lot of attention to detail. Our server took the time to explain the menu to us which was in French and did it without pretense... This restaurant has friendly service and outstanding food. It has a menu, made from fresh produce from what is available in the season. I recommend you book a table. We went there as a couple. We had a three course meal. Just the best food! And the prices are reasonable.

Because of all the raving reviews we expected more. Since we had no reservation we were only seated in the darkish cramped downstairs room. Then we sat forever, waiting to finally get a look at the menu blackboard. We appreciated that we were allowed to share the starter (we expected portions to be bigger, as it turned out we were... During our first visit to Strasbourg in 2013, we had dinner at this restaurant and found it to be wonderful. We naturally wanted to visit this restaurant during our recent visit and found it to be as wonderful and outstanding as the previous visit. This is a small restaurant with only about 10 tables. The owner is the chef with... More

Run by a husband/wife duo, La Cuiller a Pot is an amazing find with delicious food served in intimate space by the river. Loved the selection of locally made liquors for the kir/kir royal apertifs. I tried quenelle, an Alsatian plum, while my boyfriend sampled the more classic mure. Both were less syrupy than usual and lovely when pared with... More

Went here for a family celebration and we had a great time. The restaurant is very intimate which is lovely and decorated tastefully. The service was attentive but not intrusive and very helpful. The food was well cooked, season and served hot...the standout being the beef tartare starter which was quite delicious. We will be back :)

Booked a table at La Cuiller à Pot last week for a special occasion and it really didn't disappoint. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the menu had plenty of great options and the food itself was out of this world. The highlight was the selection of desserts which were all perfectly made. They also served some beautiful local... More

A fancy lunch for a special day strolling around Strasbourg. We decided to make the afternoon perfect while exploring and treating ourselves to a stylish lunch. Usually this type of meal and atmosphere would be for evening dinner, but it was fun to do this during the afternoon. Light and airy room. Couples and business meetings enjoying a secluded spot....
