This is a charming small family restaurant. The food is very seasonal and must change fairly often as it is written on two chalk boards passed from table to table. Everything we had was great from appetizers to dessert. It is also a good value given the care that was apparent in each course. Though the service can be slightly... More

Came here after a long day chasing round Germany after a few mishaps with trains on the way back from Baden -Baden, so not in the best frame of mind! First impressions: no- one to greet us; wandered upstairs and not too keen on restaurant layout. Ended up downstairs near the kitchen. Felt a bit apprehensive by now. To cut... More

The food -quality and quantity- is really good, inventive and in line with the market season. Good wine card, reasonnable price. Full dinner around 50 € per pers. The service though is very very slow, and the waiter's approach a little too friendly, for a gastronomical restaurant. This has now happen to me twice this summer....

The food here is wonderful and the ambience and service match the quality of the food. This is a place you really must visit if like us you are "foodies". Quality, presentation and quantity, what more could you ask for.

Generally speaking, we don't spend a huge amount on eating out while on holiday, but we always treat ourselves to one really special meal that will stay in our memories. This was that meal! At 100E it was way beyond our normal budget, but, as other people have commented, it was worth it! The food/service/ambience was perfect. The menu had... More

We found staffs very much involved, either cooking and serving staff. The plates are creative, even arty and the wine counselor(sommelier) has a huge acknowledge about his job!! The restaurant is a little outside of the tourist area of La petite France without a vue on the canal or the cathedral, but worth it. A little hidden jem.

Absolutely stunning food, in an intimate setting, although the tables aren't crammed together at all. Michael explained the menu in English to us, & recommended a fabulous & reasonably priced carafe of Alsation wine (14E for 500ml) to go with our choices. We were served appetisers of Parmesan toasts with cherry tomatoes - full of flavour. I then started with... More

Have just had the most amazing lunch at this perfect venue, which is currently number 2 in Strasbourg. If you want to come here for dinner you need to typically book 2 weeks in advance. We managed to get a table on a Friday lunchtime and I have to say that from start to finish everything was fantastic. Our waiter... More

We saw on Trip Advisor that this place was #2 restaurant in Strasbourg. So deserved. Fantastic waiter who knew the whole menu. Fresh produce, cooked to an amazing standard. Very reasonable in price. Do yourselves a favour a book! Fabulous!!!

There is room for only 25 in this little gem, where Michael does the waiting all by himself, but without any problem or delay. He does an excellentjob of explaining everything in English and does so with a smile. Meanwhile his boss is in the kitchen doing his magic, also all by himself. One excellent course after another. Good size... More
