Because of all the raving reviews we expected more. Since we had no reservation we were only seated in the darkish cramped downstairs room. Then we sat forever, waiting to finally get a look at the menu blackboard. We appreciated that we were allowed to share the starter (we expected portions to be bigger, as it turned out we were... Run by a husband/wife duo, La Cuiller a Pot is an amazing find with delicious food served in intimate space by the river. Loved the selection of locally made liquors for the kir/kir royal apertifs. I tried quenelle, an Alsatian plum, while my boyfriend sampled the more classic mure. Both were less syrupy than usual and lovely when pared with... More

Went here for a family celebration and we had a great time. The restaurant is very intimate which is lovely and decorated tastefully. The service was attentive but not intrusive and very helpful. The food was well cooked, season and served hot...the standout being the beef tartare starter which was quite delicious. We will be back :)

Booked a table at La Cuiller à Pot last week for a special occasion and it really didn't disappoint. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the menu had plenty of great options and the food itself was out of this world. The highlight was the selection of desserts which were all perfectly made. They also served some beautiful local... More

A fancy lunch for a special day strolling around Strasbourg. We decided to make the afternoon perfect while exploring and treating ourselves to a stylish lunch. Usually this type of meal and atmosphere would be for evening dinner, but it was fun to do this during the afternoon. Light and airy room. Couples and business meetings enjoying a secluded spot.... very elegant little restaurant with lovely food, very nice staff and some great touches. We really enjoyed this restaurant, the meal was very good with some excellent food especially the pink trout I white wine sauce- delicate and very tasty and I loved the lemon pudding eye wateringly tangy yet sweet at the same time.

This is a charming small family restaurant. The food is very seasonal and must change fairly often as it is written on two chalk boards passed from table to table. Everything we had was great from appetizers to dessert. It is also a good value given the care that was apparent in each course. Though the service can be slightly... More

Came here after a long day chasing round Germany after a few mishaps with trains on the way back from Baden -Baden, so not in the best frame of mind! First impressions: no- one to greet us; wandered upstairs and not too keen on restaurant layout. Ended up downstairs near the kitchen. Felt a bit apprehensive by now. To cut... More

The food -quality and quantity- is really good, inventive and in line with the market season. Good wine card, reasonnable price. Full dinner around 50 € per pers. The service though is very very slow, and the waiter's approach a little too friendly, for a gastronomical restaurant. This has now happen to me twice this summer....
