Great and attentive service that spoke good English. The food, in our case munkfish served with ink pasta and a saffron sauce, was divine. The desert and appetiser was just as well executed. Can but strongly recommended. Main course was about 20€ and tasted like 50€.

As such, the restaurant is quite good but there is no "wow" effect. The food is fresh, well cooked and interesting. Service friendly. But still something is missing. I could site a couple of other restaurants in Strasbourg with the same price level but which awaken more emotions.

Booked an appointment with no trouble. The staff were really friendly and took the time to explain everything on the menu to us. The first taste of the Butternut Squash soup and I literally died and went to heaven. Then the starters came through and course after course it was just brilliant. Ambience: It's not pretentious which is good, Very... More

I'm happy the first places we tried to go were closed and full! La Cuiller took us without reservations (on a Tuesday night, pretty early). The staff was easygoing and pleasant. The waiter was great--helpful and funny too! The dishes were full of flavor and pretty reasonably priced (les entrees 11 euros, les plats 20-30 euros). Chic and cool decor.... More

We just came from Burgundy and had had 2 excellent meals in Dijon (one at a Michelin starred restaurant) and 2 in Beaune. Our first day in Strasbourg we came here for lunch and this place beat them all! Every course was scrumptious with incredible flavors. My goat cheese salad--which is normally just some greens with a lump of goat... More

If this restaurant is rated 25th in Strasbourg, all I can say is that there must be out there somewhere in the City 24 of the most brilliant gourmet establishments that can be found anywhere. We found La Cuiller a Pot through the Le Fork website which we have used most successfully before in various cities and on arrival were... More

I have been in the restaurant by my self in a business trip. Although I have made reservations they couldn't find it but still found me a table. The restaurant is pleasant and homey, the food is good, fresh ingredients, really delicious desert, enjoyed my dinner.

Nice to see a menu that is based on what is fresh and seems like it changes regularly. Friendly service but most of all the food was excellent and value for money was even better. If I lived in Strasbourg this would be a local!

We had a delicious meal here. The waitstaff were also very helpful and kind. We would recommend this to our friends who are visiting Strasbourg.
