Having dinner at the Gavroche was a nice experience with tasty food - overall really good value for money (the three course menu costs 58 Euros). The restaurant is quite small and you need to reserve a table. Beware that you do not turn up late: people who had reserved were turned away because they showed up half an hour... More

The restaurant is very unpretentious from the outside intact nothing gives it away as elegant and stylish and its a nice surprise once you're through the door. The food is excellent . The amuse bouche of textures of beetroot and goats cheese was delicious and I'm not even a beetroot or goat cheese fan.

We were excited at the prospect of trying this highly rated Michelin star restaurant in the back streets of strasbourg, upon arrival we were welcomed by the owner who gave us a choice of seats. We were brought an amuse bouche of beetroot jelly & mouse with a goats cheese mouse, delicious with very subtle well balanced flavours. For starters... More

A slight detour off a major street brings you to this little jewel-box of a restaurant. We were warmly received and quickly settled. Like the room, the menu is small (we generally appreciate that). We opted for selections a la carte. Dishes were well prepared and nicely presented. Food not mind-blowing, but very enjoyable. We felt comfortable there. Only negative... More

Quite a difficult place to find . The restaurant is very small with less than a dozen tables . Unfortunately, the facade of the building is littered with building materials and scaffolding. The road is very quiet and there are quite a few people sleeping rough on the street but Do Not let the facade of this place put you... More

This restaurant is outstanding. We loved everything about it. The only thing I might have preferred would be more space between the table. The decor has Japanese touches. The dinner rolls were delicious and fresh. The amuse-gueules were of beet gelee with beet mousse and goat's cheese. We loved the forest mushrooms cake and everything else. We were served a... More

My family ate here recently to celebrate our last night in Strasbourg and it was the best meal we had. My wife and I decided to order a la carte rather than the prix fixe. There are about 4 starters and 4 mains, which was reasonably priced given the quality (the prix fixe even more so). We started on a... More

The food is absolutely fabulous and the staff is extremely nice. The atmosphere is delicately elegant suitable for romantic or business dinners alike. They have some very nice wines and are very good at helping you choose what is best for you if you need help. The only slightly negative point.is that they were a little slow at times in... More

Came to this restaurant for lunch with my wife and young daughter without a reservation based on TA rating. We were really pleased with the food. It was superb. I could throw in a few more superlatives but I don't want to raise expectations so much that the experience cannot meet up. Simply decorated in a modern style. Its not... More

What a perfect way to celebrate our anniversary! We were the first table for the evening, and were greeted by the waiter at the door (by name). The chef's wife was very friendly. She introduced herself and shook hands with all the patrons. I ordered Champagne by mistake (meant to order Crémant d'Alsace) and have no problem switching. As expected... More
