Very nice place with excellent food. The ambiance is wonderful and you feel like you're in your own living room. The only problem is that the staff does't speak English, so you get to eat what you have't ordered. But everything is delicious and whatever came to the table is great.

This small jewel is just steps away from Le Bouclier d'Or. We loved the innovative menu so much that we ate here 3 or our 4 nights in Strasbourg. When I see beef cheeks on the menu, I am in heaven. The dishes are beautifully presented and the desserts are irresistible. Because it is small, I would recommend reservations. The... More

The hand of the proprietor was evident everywhere with seasonal recommendations of food and drink. A very good place

Being the first day of our visit to Strasbourg, we requested the hotel receptionist to recommend a very good French restaurant. She gave us couple restaurants and one of them was "L' Eveil des Sens". We decided the the above was only minutes of walking distance from the Regent Petite France where we stay, it was worth exploring. Hence we... More

We followed a hotel recommendation to this restaurant and had a very good experience. We were given an amuse bouche which was a trio of little bites: salmon mousse, carrot gazpacho and a Parmesan biscuit. All of them tasted great and went well together. We both took the same entrée, a delicious dish of lobster with ravioli of lobster in... More

Did not actually see the reviews on tripadvisor and found it on the off chance because the one we wanted was closed. Service was great - English spoken fairly well. Food was amazing and very good value. Set price for 2 courses. Huge selection of wines. Maybe we were so lively and complimentary but we got an extra dessert after... More

Pluses -excellent food, generous serves, good choice, beautifully presented. Even the bread was delicious and fresh! -we had our 2 young children with us and straightaway the waitress, who asked which three languages we would like to speak, offered the chef's services to make a children's meal. This was superb, generous in quantity and we were pleasantly surprised with what... More

The decor is very nice, a lot of flowers in the stairs going down to the Men and Ladies room. Service is friendly. Awakening of the senses ? Well the food looked good and had no taste, so that is not possible to say that it was bad. Tasteless, was even the "pâté de foie-gras"... If the food would have... More

Having been recommended this place by our hotel concierge,we were not disappointed. Recommend sitting in the terrace as the inside appears rather tight for space. The seats soon filled up fast and noticed many had to be turned away. The service staff were friendly and conversant in English. The amuse bouche were original and flavorful. As for the main course,... More

Our hotel recommended this nearby restaurant and we were not disappointed. The service, selections and ambiance were top-notch. The portions were generous, beautifully presented and most important, delicious. The wine list is probably the most comprehensive we've seen in France and we were able to find the perfect reasonably priced Pinot Noir to accompany our dinner selection.
