Good authentic food

Young crowd, but didn't feel out of place as a family. Quality ingredients - lovely toasted open sandwiches. Brie, honey and walnut was delicious. Would return.

Its a small, pretty, cozy, simple french restaurant with nice tasty food. When you feel like eating something typical simple and tasty. It offers tartines( toasted country bread) with toppings .I love the ones with goat cheese . Summers you can sit outside. Casual and relaxed atmosphere.

Warm, tasty and affordable. It has been years now, each time I am in Strasbourg I shall eat there at least once... these période while good weather is on. The terrace is so alive

This is an amazing little french restaurant at Strasburg near place Kleber. The stuff is very friendly and they have english menu to help you order. The tartines were incredible and one of them was big enough for me and my friend. The wine was also very good. I like this place because the decoration and the food gives you... More

I went there early September for a conference and with my colleagues (16) of us, we arrived quite late (around 11pm). They still managed to accommodate us at the same table (inside though) and were very friendly, patient and helpful. I am French myself, which is true helped for the communication, but anyway my colleagues don't speak any French and... More

Something different from ordinary is what this place offers, though everything makes sense: the experience is of post-war France and deep-rooted bucolic tradition: from the traditional soups and "crostone" to the vin d'Alsace served in a glass jug rather than its original bottle (try the Gewurtztraminer is excellent). Every detail is well thought of with plates and napkins decorated with... More

I visited Strasbourg on business this week and a friend kindly recommended this place. It was about a 10 minute walk from our hotel and we walked past some really nice restaurants & of course Strasbourg's magical Cathedral. L'Epicerie looked lively & the food appetising. We got to sit outside which we were happy about as the weather was a... More

This was such a lovely little place to eat! It was nicely tucked away and the atmosphere was something I've never experienced in a cafe. To be honest the atmosphere and the decoration etc. is what makes it worth going, but that's not to say that the food isn't good. We had tartines and they were yummy even though they... More

We waited , and waited and waited to be served, whilst sitting at a dirty table.Eventually we got up and asked to order a couple of glasses of local wine.Quite reasonably we wanted to know where the wines came from, which grape etc, they didn't know! The wine was awful, cooking wine.....! But this place isn't cheap, its just a... More
