Good solid food, great location

Very late lunch - food was good and ample. Wait staff was pleasant and helpful. Pleasantly surprised given what seemed like a tourist location.

My husband and I loved sitting outside on a sunday afternoon. We had one of their delicious cheese boards and I had their goat cheese salad with veggies and beets. It was delicious. My husband loved his burger. I would recommend this restaurant and want to go back the next time we visit strasbourg.

They weren't overly busy however the staff acted that way... making for poor service. The drinks were expensive especially the 'small' wine by the glass. The food was average... could of given this one a miss.

The food was really nice, we had the Spatzle with ham and melted cheese sauce to pour all over it, the 'Coton' dish which was chicken in a mushroom sauce and a burger. They had a great range of dishes - we had trouble deciding what we wanted! The staff were friendly and spoke good English and helped us when... More

This restaurant is on the end of a couple of streets overlooking a canal. Very nice view. We enjoyed a delicious lunch outside. We had the spätzle and the veal cordon bleu. It was very busy so it must be popular.

I went there on a friday evening trying to find a place open at arround 22:00 To have a dinner. A lot of them were closed so i chose this one. We ordered 2 starters and one main to share and 2 deserts. Everything was excellent and the service really fast and gentle (and in super english). I would go... More

During a visit of Strassbourg with some friends of ours we passed this place where we had been 20 years ago (time flies) being hungry and attempted to get a table outside. Although full and at 1:15pm the manager agreed to get us a table for six as soon as he could. And after 10 minutes we got seated. The... More

We enjoyed hamburgers, meatballs, veal cordon blue, and spätzle. All the dishes were very good. On the downside, service was slow and required several reminders before our beverages were served. In one case we did not receive a beer until more than halfway through our meal.

Walked in early on a busy Sunday and were seated inside as "all the exterior seating (then empty) were reserved." Service was extremely fast ("move 'em out") and very impersonal. Food was OK but certainly not near "moderately fine dining" as we'd been led to believe. Super location for tourists but then, they may be relying on that to keep... More

We had duck leg with ratatouille. The meat was good (I like skin crispy though) ratatouille was flavorful. We even had dessert of crème caramel maison au beurre salé and tiramisu à notre facon. Definitely go with the crème caramel!
