Very good food , in the heart of Petit France . Placed on a little square and having the best open surrounding enviroment for the summer . Friendly people. You may have to wait to be served or while waiting for the bill because its very popular . Make reservation if you intend to go in the rush hour .... More

We stopped here for a relaxing lunch on a warm afternoon. We'd just finished touring La Petite France and this was a nice spot to watch the world go by before we went into town. Service was nice (they were used to tourists and treated us and the nearby tables well). Menu is modern with a French country flair. We... More

The location of La corde a linge is lovely. By the river and across the street from the famous Tanner's house in La Petite France. Very efficient service, good tasting food with a clear local flair.

Our hotel was around the corner, and in terms of location and convenience, we couldn't get better, so after having asked the concierge where his favourite restaurant was, we settled here. Value for money wise, this restaurant gets 5* alone, service may be improved on, but I never felt it lacked in any way, the white wine was very nice... More

We came here to enjoy some food in the warm late afternoon sun and were surprised that we were quite rudely told, that we were only allowed to take a seat if we would order food and if we occupied a table completely (which we both did). We soon found out why they were so strict, since many people were... More

We had an early dinner for four on the terrace. The location is lovely. By the river and across the street from the famous Tanner's house in La Petite France. The meatballs and spetzel were a real treat.

We had dinner here on a rainy night. Surprisingly, it was still packed on a Wednesday evening but we were able to score a table for three after a short 5 minute wait. Service and personnel were very good, friendly, and personable. The food was very good too! I had a different version of jambon and spaetzle with cream sauce... More

Great location in the Heart of Strasbourg. Very efficient Service, good tasting Food with a clear local flair - except: no Flammkuchen! The Ice-Cream portions are huge! Definitely a good choice.
