a typical Alsacian restaurant in an enchanting place on the river and straight in the center. the problem is that they have far too many tables and can't handle them. it takes ages to get served. we spent the whole evening trying to have dinner and they even run off the dish we wanted to eat... read more

I been here on a sunny evening. Being in Alsace territory i wanted to taste the famous Choucroute. I chose this restaurant mostly impressed by the riverside view but i was not dissappointed by the food either. i tried Choucroute and beer. The waiter was friendly and gave some good suggestions as well. It was a good feeling to tear... More

I thought our waiter must have been having a bad night but from the other reviews I see this was not the case. His off-had attitude throughout was crowned by giving us the wrong bill twice. He told us it was our fault for leaving our table even though we clearly pointed out which was ours. If we'd stayed waiting... More

Firstly, it seems we were lucky not get the grumpy male waiter other reviewers have complained about. Our waitress wasn't exactly friendly, (we have found this a bit of a Strasbourg restaurant issue generally, although I absolutely adore this city) but she was polite and efficient. They served the best meal that we ate in the city, absolutely delicious with... More

You should never eat at this restaurant! The food was ok and the toilets dirty, fair enough. BUT, the male waiter is the most rude person I have ever met! We asked to pay after waiting quite a while, and he exploded totally and yield at us both in French and English. I have never felt so indisposed in my... More

Hunger tormented us, so despite the higher than average price we pushed the door of this place. We get offered a table the tablecloth was uggly the waiter passed his hand on the table to get rid of the crumbs (on my clothes). The reception was friendly, but after an eternal time nobody asked us if we were hungry or... More

A very nice location on the riverside. The service wasn't bad but our waiter was a bit grumpy and the menu could have been a little more interesting

Restaurant on the quai with a fine view on the water. All dishes in the restaurant were pleasant. The chef is cooking delicious dishes of Alsace kitchen. The remarkable view of the canal, but service was awful. In the beginning we ordered only to drink one glass of a "Gewürztraminer" and "tarte flambée". "that`s all" (c'est tout) the waiter repeated... More

We walked out of this restaurant before completing our order because the waiter made it abundantly clear that we were not welcome in his restaurant. Between his rolling of his eyes, clicking of his pen impatiently, huffing and puffing and then closing up his notepad and asking "c'est tout?" when there were still two of us to place orders, his... There is no question as to how great the location of this restaurant is. We went there to sit under the big shady tree and enjoy being close to the canal watching passing ducks, boats and people on the other side of the bank. We kind of expected the food to be not that great and also the service to... More
