Great Service, Ok Food

A big group of 20 of us went go dinner here. Had the tarte au flambé a side salad and a glass of Riesling which came to €16.30 which was reasonable. The staff were very very accommodating, bringing us water and bread every time the baskets were empty!!

Me and my family had a wonderful time at this restaurant. Waiter was very nice and helpful. He explained everything, brought some samples and extras for our baby. Food is good. Try the foie gras with figue toast as entree.

Superb location down a busy little street just down from the cathedral so you might have expected either high prices or poor service, but neither. We ate there twice (lunchtime visits). The choucroute was great as was the tartes. Really good service even when it was busy. A definate recommendation from me. Tables located on the street under cover, we... More

We really wanted a Salade Niçoise but it was a challenge. We then came across this restaurant that served it. Firstly we were greeted by a very lovely waitress who made us feel very welcome. We had a lovely table outside so could watch the world go by, and listen to the street music. The salad was wonderful and we... More

Went there a couple of times, mainly because of service: the waiter outside makes the business; had "tartes flambés", chocrute . Food is very tastefull, but service is top, even when selecting the wine waiter was really kind.

Nothing better than dining al fresco in a great city on a summer's evening. Sat out on street so I could people watch whilst dining. Unfortunately service and quality of food didn't match up to the setting. Waited far too long to be served and when food did arrive it was disappointing. I believe they didn't have enough staff to... We used this place twice during our short stay in Strasbourg. Both times the rue Maroquin was busy with tourists and the restaurant was busy but managed to fit us in. The weather was cold but the restaurant was nice and warm and the staff made us welcome. The décor seemed old but gave the place a cosy and authentically... More

We went to Strasbourg during a X-mas Market period (and a plenary session at the European Parliament), thus the city was literally packed with tourists. Nevertheless, it is a must-see during that time of the year. We have chosen that restaurant as we have heard from one of our friends that it is a good place to dine in. And... More

Typical Alsatian dishes, moderate food served in prices more expensive than what was actually offered. The onion soup and tarte were moderate, however the main dishes were not much of a surprise.
