Good Alsace regional food

Coq au Riesling sounds odd, when you're used to traditional French Coq au Vin, but it was excellent! The waitress was very good, but my niggle concerns the bloke at the back she collected our wine from. Yes, we were speaking English: I am, however, bilingual, and could understand him when he... read more

Excellent service, good food, well presented. I ate more than I intended but it was fine. In contrast to another review, my jambonneau was perfect: tender, juicy, delicious. The choucrout was mild; I wouldn't have minded a bit more vinegar. Being alone on a business trip can be awkward, but it didn't feel that way here. The efficient and welcoming... More

It was a warm evening so we ate outside to take advantage of the views in the pretty centre of Petite France. The restaurant is located on a pedestrianised street and is an ideal spot for people watching. We had the 31 euro menu which comprised large servings of well cooked local specialities. Service was prompt and efficient. With a... More

It was a cold December's night and we were lured in to this restaurant by the warm glow of candles. The downstairs room was about half full and it had a nice ambience that meant we were looking forward to dining there. Instead the waitress pointed us upstairs and we followed her directions. We then came to another room was... More

Ate here on New Year's Day with my husband. First, be sure to make a reservation. The location is right on the main thoroughfare and a constant stream of people came in to try to eat and were turned away. We reserved on the fork.com and we're glad we did. Had a 3 course set menu for 30€, good local... More

This charming little restaurant takes you back in times as it offers a great old but romantic ambiance. The food is very down- home. There is no grand variety, but traditional tasty Alsatian specialities. Proces are in middle price range. Nice to see!

very characteristic restaurant. Service was extremely efficient, quality of food very good (I had the chouxcroute de poissons) price acceptable for what offered. I can go there again

Lokhas is nested in a beautiful corner of La Petite France historical district. The terasse offers outstanding views of the historical houses and lovely architecture in the district. The service was friendly but lacked effectiveness. The jambonneau was on the smallish side, lacked effort in presentation and was a bit dry in the inside. Prices were at par with other... More
