The welcome as well as service is friendly and the restaurant itself quite cute (typical alsacian). Food is more than average and overpriced for what it is! The table cloth was not clean either... I would not recommend this restaurant especially that there is another fantastic alsacian one just in... read more

The building looks lovely, but at peak times in Christmas market season they seemed to be filled up beyond capacity. Recently recruited staff seemed overwhelmed, got the order wrong and added another table to our bill. The seats are hard, but suit the building. The food was cold as it hung around in a cold corridor until one of the... More

Food was very basic and expensive for what we got. Service was good/friendly. The restaurant was quite small but it lacked atmosphere as there was no music and the chairs and tables were very uncomfortable but they suited the overall decor.

In such a stunning setting you'd be forgiven for walking in here for dinner. The downstairs restaurant is below ground level which makes it even prettier, we ate upstairs. Sadly the service is curt and pretty rude, they are clearly disinterested in their restaurant. But oh the food, its dismal! Boiled sausages on soggy cabbage....my steak was pretty awful, the... The food and wine is overpriced for the quality that you get. The worse part about that restaurant was the service, waiters were not respectful at all. its a tourist trap. I would not recommend.

Exceptional unfriendly staff. We arrived for a late (2 pm) lunch and as we sat down and received the ordered bottle of water we immediately had to order because the kitchen was closing in e few minutes. Other guests who wanted to sit down on the terras as well, to just "boire une verre" were chased away because tables (all... More

This restaurant is set in a charming old Alsatian house, complete with an original stove. The Petite France area is tourist central and it's easy to get served a bad choucroute. However, at Lohkas, the choucroute alsacienne is really good, and the portions are very generous. The wines on the menu are for the majority local, and all the food... More

Food may not look fancy but it tastes fantastic. Had lunch from the special board even though we had no idea what we were ordering. Really enjoyed the surprise of what was coming to the table.

Very typical alsatian food. To be recommended if you want to combine a short trip in Strasbourg with a fair deal.
