4 day visit to Strasbourg, this was the big night out. started with the foie gras entre. Highly unusual served as a finger toast with layers of foie gras, strawberry gel and a thin layer of dark chocolate - absolutely fabulous. Followed by steak for my partner and veal cotelet both with well cooked vegetables and great french sauces. Finished... More

Expected great things when reading the reviews but was disappointed. The menu choices were very tempting and, with more care and attention, could have been much better. Coriander and herb topping on the starters was sandy and gritty - not washed properly and the duck breast stuffed with foie gras was chewy/tough. The potato - mashed/crushed - served with it... More

I can see why so many reviewers say this restaurant deserves a Michelin star! We really enjoyed the creative, delicious food and the relaxed elegance of the space. Everything we tried was wonderful, but my favorites were the tuna tartare and the veal entrecôte. The portions were the perfect size for us, and we appreciated that the desserts were light... More

The restaurant is absolutely worth trying if you visit Strasbourg. The food is very well prepared, delicious and beautifully served. The foie gras I had for a starter was of high quality and the tuna steak was delicate and juicy, not overcooked. My boyfriend had a steak, equally well prepared. Definitely upscale food but not too expensive at all. The... More

Kobus is apparently a character from an Alsatian novel. Here it is a small restaurant with a warm understated decord, a hidden treasure of a menu in reasonable range. The food is excellent. I have a finger of foi gras. Steve has a “pizza” with fresh tomatoes gelee on top of a very crispy cracker with anchovy, iberico ham, and... More

Again selected the restaurant due to good online reviews. And it was a very good choice. Located in a easy side street close to main town area (but this is Strasbourg so it is usually within walking distance!), Kobus seemed small and cosy from the outside. We sat by the walkway so we didn't go into the restaurant. Do make... More

This restaurant is located on a very nice pedestrian street of the old part of Strasbourg. Depending on the weather it is possible to eat outside which is a nice feature in the summer. The menu is limited but its easy to find something for everybody. The kitchen is creative, nicely presented and the service is very good. Most dishes... More

Very french, no English translations but owners English, and humour, excellent. Small restaurant not extensive menu, but variety and quality of dishes was very good. Main point- location as shown on map is incorrect. Address is correct and is found on the cathedral side of the river.

This was a truly memorable meal. The food was absolutely outstanding - delicate, flavourful and nicely plated. The owner helped us by translating the menu and specials in English, and took time with us to talk through wines even though the restaurant was humming. All in all this was a lovely experience and delicious meal at an great value.

I really like this small and charming place. Personal service and thoughtfully prepared food. Its nitche is fresh ingredients from the local markets. The composition is interesting and the prices are reasonable given the quality. (25 Euros per entre). The restaurant is informal with great food. Just what I want on vacation.
