The lunch set menu is probably the best price/quality bargain in Strasbourg. Great cuisine better than other Michelin star restaurants in Strasbourg. Small place so do make a reservation. Ample fish choices which is not always the case in Alsace. Wonderful place to have lunch.

Absolutely loved this restaurant. The surroundings were stylish but not fussy, the staff were extremely friendly but very professional and as for the food ! Before we'd even finished the meal I was trying to book a table for another night. The meal was outstanding, the amuse bouche of butternut squash and orange soup was silky and rich. This was... Intimate and warm, the food and service at Kobus were exceptional. After a cold and rainy day in Strasbourg, we were delighted with the restaurant. They were happy to explain the menu in English. The fois gras and the shrimp appetizer were delicious, and the first bite of red snapper with spinach was heavenly. It is definitely worth a visit.

Delicious and well presented set menu. Excellent use of local produce. The truffle Foie Gras was the highlight, but their deconstructed tiramisu was also very tasty!

Excellent food (very well presented), excellent wine, good service, and decent prices. Couldn't ask for more in Strasbourg.

Everything about this place is great and we will go again, for sure! The hosts are charming and you feel very welcome the minute you enter. The carefully prepare dishes were a delight for the eye and the mouth. We had fish as entrée and for the main course and we loved it. The recommended wine was spot on. The... More

After extensive research, chose Kobus from the many restaurants in Strasbourg, to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary. We sat outside as it was lovely and warm. The food was delicious. Husband still talks about the "best beef he has ever eaten." A very positive experience and one that I would recommend.

We visited this restaurant on a Thursday evening, having found several others fully booked, but had no problem getting a table here. The prices are perhaps a bit above average, but the food was excellent and the portions generous. We both had fish dishes from the specials blackboard, which were very good and well presented, along a very nice Alsace... More

4 day visit to Strasbourg, this was the big night out. started with the foie gras entre. Highly unusual served as a finger toast with layers of foie gras, strawberry gel and a thin layer of dark chocolate - absolutely fabulous. Followed by steak for my partner and veal cotelet both with well cooked vegetables and great french sauces. Finished... More

Expected great things when reading the reviews but was disappointed. The menu choices were very tempting and, with more care and attention, could have been much better. Coriander and herb topping on the starters was sandy and gritty - not washed properly and the duck breast stuffed with foie gras was chewy/tough. The potato - mashed/crushed - served with it...
