This is a very friendly, family run restaurant in a quaint neighbourhood near Petite France. The food is splendid, tasty and imaginative, and very good value. Wines are varied if a little pricey, but carafes are available and good. This is not a Tarte Flambee joint, and has a very interesting variety of proper Alsatian dishes, including unusually, some fish.... More

Living in Strasbourg for 10 years, I can sincerely tell you it's one my two favorite elsassich restaurant, even if it's a touristic place. Dishes are combining quality and huge quantity... Prices are reasonable except for the drinks (15-20€ for a dish, 4€ for a beer) I can advice you : le vol au vent de poulet and la salade... More

traditional slow cooked alsace food of high quality ingredients would be truly tasty had the chef developed some sensitivity to salt. The sauce of my venison was so salty I only managed to eat 1/3 of the stew (from lovely cast iron saucepan). Since it contained lots of bones, I wanted to take the rest home (I am local) to... More

A friend and I stayed in one of the Fink Stuebel's quaint rooms that overlook a little square by Strasbourg's old quarter. We were delighted with our welcome, the room, and the wonderful Alsatian food--a marvelous dinner and daily breakfasts. We stayed and ate for four days and wished we could have stayed a month! The chef/owner loaned me a... More

This place is amazing. I ordered the Vol Au Vent which is a nice pastry stuffed with chicken and comes with a cream sauce. It came with spatzle and it was the best I have ever had! It was cooked perfect, nice and crispy and browned. Highly recommend this place! Menu is in French, German, and English. Friendly staff. Open... More

I ate at Fink Stuebel on a bicycle trip through Alsace and the Black Forest. After a short effort to communicate in English with Madame (not enthusiastic about the process), I came to love the warm, very Alsatian food and experience. Great food, wine, and at the end, a warm reception for a solo diner and traveler. Overall, very much... More

We have been travelling in France for 5 weeks and are a bit surprised by all of the positive reviews - our meal here just was not that great - it might be traditional but its very simple and bland food that seems way overpriced. Also for children they had no options or anything noted on their menu - it... More

We were so pleased with our experience. This is a. very small intimate restaurant. It is decorated in typical Alsatian manner wit lots of wood paneling and a large mural with four women in traditional garb. The business is run by a small family. The choucroute was great and very satisfying, my wife had the chicken fricasee in a pastry... More

I was brought there by a friend who works in Strasbourg and whose boss says that's the best winstub of Strasbourg. The decoration is traditionnal and nice. Food and beer was just the same. The choucroute was delicous, with a great variety of different meats and charcuterie. Other dishes we've tried were also very good (for ex. the brioche stuffed... More
