Great dinner excellent service.

My wife and I had one of our best meals tonight in Colmar. My wife had a traditional dish which was veal pork and beef with carrots and potatos. I had the duck with onions and polenta. We started off with we had an asparagus cream which was delicious. The main dishes were good and what we would... read more

Going on ol' Rick Steves' recommendation, I made online reservations, which may not be necessary as the place did not fill up by the time we left. We were seated by a window facing out to the lovely street that is full of life! The wine selection was great, & tasters are available for mostly any of them. We had... More

Clasic style Restaurant in the center of Colmar. Children friendly, accepts dogs, gluten free friendly. A little bit oldish in style but surprisingly very good food and service. Very positive experience.

This is a great little place for dinner. It is part of a hotel by the same name but the restaurant has a separate entrance on a street behind the hotel proper. Staff were very friendly and the food was wonderful. Great atmosphere and conveniently located to the central area. The place seems very formal; table cloths, candles, etc but... More

We had beautiful dinner. All dishes were well prepared and beautifully served. Kids loved the steaks,e I enjoyed the Choucroute. Excellent starters and very good desserts. Good wine, friendly service, though we arrived quite late, with no reservation. And all for reasonable price. Highly recommended!

This restaurant adjoining Le Rapp Hotel looks a little too formal for a casual traveler, but don't be put off by that. And it isn't necessarily as expensive as it looks, either. Although you can rack up an impressive bill, especially with wine, there are nightly specials for, at this writing, 14.5 euros, which is quite competitive even with cafe... More

Our first visit to this restaurant was two years ago. The service and food was five star and terrific value. This visit i was disappointed with th menu and the quality of my meal. I was there with my 5 and 3 yr old. They were so friendly and accommodating of the children. The maitre'd was the same lady from... More

Very well received. The waiter certainly knew which wines to propose and and we pumped for a Riesling Muré 2008. The younglings went for the €29 menu and seemed impressed while we went for the traditional Alsace stew. Delicious, and topped of with crêpes suzettes made and flambées at the table. We were the last table in the restaurant and... More
