Good experience

I spent a night there with my wife. Very professional people and the food quality was very good. I have to thank the man who suggested me the Alsace Muscat, a wine I always avoided. It has been a very nice suprise.

This was a great surprise in Colmar. We were welcomed to our table and served with a triple amuse bouche, and properly advised to choose from the rich wine list. We wanted two different set menus, which was possible (in many restaurants it is not: set menus are for the whole table) and because one menu had more dishes we... More

Restaurant : Atelier du Pleintre. A 1* restaurant hiding in Colmar. Ambience : Small little restaurant. Bright, modern and cheerful decor with white starched table setting. Service : Prompt, professional and non-intrusive. Very attentive. Food : We ordered 1) Grilled scallops was alright but didnt go w the sweet potato puree. 2) Calamari seafood platter was a good balance of... More

We were not welcome today with our Chihuahua's in a closed buggy at this restaurant ! We ate already in multiple star restaurants all over Europe nowhere a problem yet ! Sorry but this way your restaurant don't earn any michelin-star!

Myself and my wife were in Turckheim for almost two weeks and we weren't planning on eating in a Michelin starred restaurant (they can be rather expensive) but when it was agreed that my mother would join us for 4 days we decided that we would go as she had never eaten in one. And, as she was a chef... More

We went for a dinner on a weekday and enjoyed their set menu at Euro40 with very delicious fois gras as starter, quail as main and a framboise in cream as dessert. All presented very nicely. The free appertizer are very refreshing and colourful & the bread were also tasty. Very high quality at good value! Set menu is offered... More

Always original choice. Been there a few times and always had only best impressions. Really worth trying it once in Colmar!

On our way back home from Italy, and having dined at numerous Michelin starred restaurants, we stayed overnight in Colmar and decided to eat with the locals. After 2 hours of walking and menu watching, we picked out two restaurants, travelled back and forth between them, but simply could not decide on which one. And thank God for that; from... More

There are many nice and good restaurants in Colmar but I would specially recommend “L’Atelier du Peintre” in the historic centre of Colmar. A young couple owns it. He is in charge of the kitchen and she takes care of the service. This restaurant offers an excellent variety of dishes prepared and presented with a lot of talent. A Sommelier... More

When you had your share of heaping plates of sauerkraut with seven meats and potatoes or one too many Flammkuchen, treat yourself to a fabulous luncheon at this excellent restaurant where chef Loïc Lefebvre will surprise you with beautifully conceived dishes. At lunch, you can try three courses for only Euro 29! Memorable: one of the three amuse bouche, a... More
