Wonderfully presented food that tastes even better than it looks. The menu is quite small but everything we tried was excellent. Friendly service and nice wine choice available. Very satisfying meal and we didn't think we had room for desert , but the mango-passion fruit looked so tempting that we... read more

Been there to celebrate my wife's birthday. A grande galerie menu was chosen for this special event. A few days before our lunch I gave the restaurant a ring to ask for something special for birthday : they responded positively explaining they'd write happy birthday and light up a candle with the dessert. So overall : - a great distortion... More

we had last year a nice lunch. the chef knows how to prepare food, tastefully and well served. it us a relative small restaurant in the centre of colmar. However....... We reserved at the website of the restaurant well before a table for 4. Arriving a bit ahead of time, after driving 4 hours to get there, the waiter told... More

I was visiting a friend in Colmar for Thanksgiving and we went here for lunch. From the moment we walked in, we were treated with the utmost care and respect and the food - It was an OMG moment. From the amuse bouche - beet root gazpacho, a macaroon filled with duck liver pate and a "raw" egg on a... More

We came here partly by chance, as I recalled the name in a positive light from trawling through Trip Advisor - and L'Auberge was booked out. I'm so glad we did! The amuses bouche were delicious, especially the macaron with foie gras. We both chose a main from the à la carte menu as we weren't that hungry. I had... More

The rillets de haddock were a great start, but the poitrine de volaile with on ignores and puréed sweet potatoes was to die for. The best chicken I have ever had, hands down. Chic little bistro space. Very attentive and friendly service. This luncheon wasn't just excellent, it was memorable.

One of the best meals we had in Alsace. It has a great selection of local wines at reasonable prices. The food is contemporary and inspired but most certainly not pretentious. The prix fix lunch is a great value for the excellent food matched by first rate service. Highly recommended.

This is a very good restaurant, the menu is small, it shows that the restaurant target is to serve the best quality. Service is perfect, with many attentions, cleaning multiple time the table between each dishes. The dishes are gastronomic, small portions but very perfectly sized. We enjoyed it for our wedding anniversary.

We wanted to be sure to try a couple of Michelin starred restaurants on our recent vacation and selected this one while staying near Colmar - we drove into Colmar from Eguisheim to dine here. The restaurant was definitely very nice and the service was fine and attentive. The food was very good - we had a gespacho amuse bouche,... More

This is a classical French restaurant with a trendy ambience. It offers a prix fix dinner in addition to a regular menu. The prices are reasonable for the quality of food being served. Desserts are spectacular. Parking could be a problem. A complete wine list is available with very reasonable prices. A return visit is a must.
