To be fair, it was understaffed, but the service was slow as a result and it harmed the experience. Food was quite good, lovely escargot, reasonably priced.

The interior is very, very charming and the staff really lovely. The food is as you'd expect in a Wistub, but the quality is top-notch. Worth waiting for a table until 9:30pm!

We booked relatively early (being Americans!), 7:30, and found quite a few people already at the restaurant--many of them English or German speakers, who tend to eat earlier. Very soon thereafter, the place filled up with lots more French speakers. Our young waitress provided cheerful service in spite of having a large number of people to serve and having to... More

We booked into this restaurant through our B & B hostess for an 8:00pm dinner. As the weather was inclement we asked our hostess to order a taxi for 7:50 pm. Once arriving at the restaurant we were told that our booking had been cancelled due to the bad weather. We said NO that is not correct. The owner was... More

First off, we had the first table for 2 as you enter the restaurant which turned out to be a great table. We skipped appetizers, starters and whathaveyou, and went directly to our entrees. My husband ordered the shrimp and risotto with basil. He enjoyed his meal, but the shrimp were very small. I ordered the choucroute and it was... More

Very traditional dinner in Colmar, highly recommended. We had two entrees and a dessert with wine for about 50 euros. The food was extremely good and the service was exceptional. We found the ambiance to be very romantic and traditional.

We had a not so Quick Lunch. We did not make a reservation and they were quite full so we got a table upstairs. We were a bit forgotten most of the time as we were alone upstairs but this did not matter as the Food Was Really Good. The Service was Good and in English.
