First Rate Middle Eastern Restaurant

Delicious chicken skewers with salad, home made hummus and yogurt and the softest, most delicate pita bread, the whole meal was so good. This is a clean, cute little restaurant run by really nice people who will try to please you.

We had a great experience in Palmyre: the place, the food, the music, everything was perfect, I ate the delicious falafel with houmus and the aromatic tea...for desert:tipical Lebanese specialities with a very aromatic coffe with cardamom (from lebanon) just perfect!!!

Highly recommended to escape the hustle und bustle of the Xmas market in December and a good alternative to the odd "Flammkuchen" and Sauerkraut meals they serve all over the place.

I am writing after my second meal at Palmyre. This is a small restaurant and you will need reservations on a weekend. They serve great Lebanese food. Their business model is to serve only the number of patrons the staff (2) can handle. The food is fresh and well seasoned. The service is a bit slow but it is worth... More

My wife and I ate here in July for dinner and we would recommend if you like middle eastern food. We had an appetizer, two entrees and two beers for about 45 euros. The portions were nice and the food was great. The restaurant is technically Lebanese with many mid eastern options. The service was good as was the ambiance... More

Place is a tiny corner restaurant in the old part of Colmar. Food is excellent and fairly good value. It only sits about 30 or so people, staff is the cook and the waiter. Service is slow when the restaurant is busy, but the food is worth it.

Ended up there by chance as it was Sunday and the Christmas Market had the city packed. The waiter was very kind to let us wait inside for a table to become available. He even brought us some extra chairs from storage so we could wait seated. Food was excellent and portions generous, while prices more than reasonable. We had... More

We came to this nice little restaurant after reading about Palmyre on Tripadvisor. We loved the food, the service was excellent, and the prices low. I would really recommend this place.

I chose to eat lunch here only because it was not absolutely packed and because I adore Lebanese and Syrian food. I had the chicken shwarma, served with a salad, rice, and two cold vegetables. The portions were a good size, and the chicken, while fresh, was not as well seasoned as it could have been. The mint tea was... More

I ate at this Lebanese restaurant today and it was first class. The portion sizes are huge so I'm still feeling very full. Excellent friendly service and very welcoming atmosphere. I had the Chef's special which had 6 starters, a main course, desert and tea...all for just 26euros! They gave my boyfriend a free tea as well! The starters were... More
