Good atmosphere

Lovely family run business; very hospitable. Authentic Lebanese style food. Air conditioning worked well on a very hot day in Colmar (39 C). All food well prepared and presented.

We were delighted to discover this Syrian-Lebanese restaurant in Colmar. We sat inside because it was so hot outside. There is some air conditioning inside, and although it's not strong, it was better than outside. Service was a little slow once the restaurant filled, but was always friendly and the quality and flavor of the food was wonderful. My husband... More

Terrific food, air conditioned! Suggest sitting at a table directly in the a/c air flow for best comfort on a hot day. Good price. Free water...,.as for a carafe and avoid the 5 euro typical water charges....it is unlimited, too. say 'encore' and they'll bring another and another....second visit just as good as the first. the lamb skewer/chicken mixed grill is... We ended up at this place accidentally on the way to another restaurant in the Petit Venise area. My husband was getting tired of meat-heavy meals, so we were thrilled to stop here. They have plenty of excellent platters for meat eaters but also accommodated me (a vegetarian) with a fantastic vegetarian sampler platter. I've had a lot of great... More

Delicious chicken skewers with salad, home made hummus and yogurt and the softest, most delicate pita bread, the whole meal was so good. This is a clean, cute little restaurant run by really nice people who will try to please you.

We had a great experience in Palmyre: the place, the food, the music, everything was perfect, I ate the delicious falafel with houmus and the aromatic tea...for desert:tipical Lebanese specialities with a very aromatic coffe with cardamom (from lebanon) just perfect!!!

Highly recommended to escape the hustle und bustle of the Xmas market in December and a good alternative to the odd "Flammkuchen" and Sauerkraut meals they serve all over the place.

I am writing after my second meal at Palmyre. This is a small restaurant and you will need reservations on a weekend. They serve great Lebanese food. Their business model is to serve only the number of patrons the staff (2) can handle. The food is fresh and well seasoned. The service is a bit slow but it is worth... More

My wife and I ate here in July for dinner and we would recommend if you like middle eastern food. We had an appetizer, two entrees and two beers for about 45 euros. The portions were nice and the food was great. The restaurant is technically Lebanese with many mid eastern options. The service was good as was the ambiance... More

Place is a tiny corner restaurant in the old part of Colmar. Food is excellent and fairly good value. It only sits about 30 or so people, staff is the cook and the waiter. Service is slow when the restaurant is busy, but the food is worth it.
