Good street scene, ok food.

Nice location for outdoor lunch in nice piazza. Service was efficient. Food ok. Price reasonable. I have said enough.

My son and I stayed in Colmar for 2 nights and ate here twice, both times we had the Rosti. it was delicious, reasonable prices and we were seated in a covered outside table.

I had the pleasure of frequenting this establishment recently with some friends for dinner. I could tell that the venue was well worth the effort, given the crowded tables (both indoors + outside), and our wait of 20-30mins for a table indoors. I tried the local dish, Choucroute - a massive portion of tasty sauerkraut and several pieces of sausages... More

We were in Colmar for 3 nights and ate here twice. Just wanted somewhere serving traditional food in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere and not over-priced "fine dining". Schwendi did the trick. I had the vegetarian rosti which was excellent. Lovely bottle of wine to accompany it. We tried the Flambee Banane but not quite to our taste. It was... More

My wife and I ate there on a recent visit and we weren't overly impressed. My wife enjoyed the onion soup but my Alsace Platter was 90% lettuce and the dressing was awful !! Our main course of Cordon Bleu Breaded Chicken again came with at least 60% lettuce ( which I suspected was taken of the plateful I sent... More

We stopped for beers and the spurkraut looked so good we stayed to eat. Great spot for people watching. They do have their own branded beer. Nice service.

Recommend to try when the French cuisine is taking a (longer) rest or are not in the mood to serving. Their motto ”we serve 12-22?!” says it all.
