Been here a few times now as we really like the choice of food and the deserts are yummy. It does get really busy particularly tea time we waited 30mins for a table but worth the wait .

Good choice of food - being a buffet, there is no waiting around. The freshly cooked food from the chefs counter is a must as well as the great choice of deserts.

I gave 45 minutes and 8.40 pounds to this place, I refuse to give them 1000 characters for this review. Do yourself a favor and go to another buffet in town. Cold, food mislabeled, hardly any veg options and just plain dirty sums it up.

Went at lunchtime £8.40 all you can eat. Good selection of food including some things that were round the corner from the main food bars so could be missed. Some of the food could have been a little hotter and the plates would have been better if they were warmed rather than cold. If these things were taken care of... More

Went to Buffet City Last night 26.11.14. before our trip to the Theatre. £10.95 per person its all you can eat Chinese food. The food is of a good standard there is lots of choice and no rush so you can take your time. Our only gripe is that if your Disabled and need to use the toilet, your pretty... More

Visited last night, they were really busy mainly due to the chistmas markets. Waited about 10 minutes for a table, the wait was worth it . Food was plentiful and hot, and replenished regularly. The sweet selection particularly good, as to the sushi ( Japanese surely ! ) One small, and it is small, the drinks are a tad pricey... More

I'd been to the Bonfire and Fireworks Display at Platt Fields Park and as it had gone 9:30pm and I'd not had my dinner, I decided to drop in one of the restaurants in Chinatown. Buffet City on Portland Street caught my eye, so I decided to give it a try. It wasn't very busy as it was getting late... More

We go to a lot of Chinese Buffets, so we are aware that the food quality is usually under the usual restaurant standard. This place was well below the average buffet. Food was generally cold and chewy (we arrived 5 minutes after they opened for lunch) and although a few dishes tasted great, the majority of dishes were very bland.... More

First time at buffet city after my best friend "strongly recommends" me to try it... It was a busy time when I got there with my best friend but we still got a warm welcome and only within 5 minutes a cute lady took us to the table. The chicken and sweet corn soup was fantastic, I wish the chippy... More
