we had Sunday lunch which is just what you need when you are feeling a bit jaded after Saturday night out. They had a great range of unusual beers and guest beers which were just the ticket.

This place is a no frills, full of cobwebs, crisps and peanuts type bar... and I mean that in the best way possible. The hidden gem here is the food, just like its sister bar in Chorlton the food is always tasty, well portioned and traditional. It's possibly my favourite place for a Sunday roast. The also have a decent... More

Visited here for a drink and bite too eat, following a quick google search of real ale pubs in Manchester. Glad I chose this one. Had 6 ales on hand pump, all the ones I chose were kept and served perfectly. There was also plenty of bespoke stuff on keg and large selection of bottles too. The staff seemed passionate... More

We were told there was nothing they would do (sandwich, chips etc).....the chef was stood at the end of the car chatting... More

Review is of a visit on a Friday late Afternoon / early evening . Nestled under a railway arch , close to Manchester's Deansgate Station , the Knott bar is a modern but not too trendy bar ,with it's upstairs balcony and good food ,its a very pleasant place to spend time ..

In Manchester on business I paid homage to the well named Knott Bar and walked down from Piccadilly where we were staying. I persuaded a work colleague to put in the extra walk on the basis of good beer and food. The beer delivered with excellent real ale and craft beers and a good selection from Europe. Unfortunately though there... More

I love this bar, its location is unique with a very wide spectrum of beer on offer! The place is always buzzing but gets very busy too.
