At best the staff are actively discriminating against anyone that isn't Chinese. At worse they are racist or bigots. Either way I would never spend my money here again.

You don't eat your surroundings, so the tacky and outdated tables etc didn't matter a jot. The food was outstanding and very reasonably priced. We had spare ribs to start, they were very good. we had crispy duck, lemon chicken, kung po king prawns and sizzling beef, king prawn fried rice as an accompaniment. We had 4 beers and 2... More

After checking out trip advisor for Chinese restaurants in Manchester, we visited as recommended. We were not disappointed. Arrived about 6.30pm there was a bit of a queue but only waited about 10 minutes before being seated. Lots of the local Chinese community eating there, always a good indication of quality. We ordered the banquet set meal. Food was delicious... More

Over the years I have walked past here loads of times, it always looked "ok" but never thought to actually venture inside. However this weekend we did, after being to the football, and we were really impressed. Not the most salubrious of surroundings but it works. The restaurant is really busy with lots of Chinese people in - always a... More

Very authentic, very popular with local Chinese community and no concessions to 'English' palates. My kind of Chinese restaurant. Staff are very busy and efficient - if a little brusque. Food is superb - my wife said the sesame prawn toasts were a revelation, making every other version she had ever tasted seem like cardboard in comparison. Don't expect luxury... More

Have eaten here soooooo many times. You know you're in the right place when your fellow diners are all Chinese. Busy and almost inevitably full. You may have to queue. Try the won ton noodle soup with a portion of one of the barbecued meats on the side - char siu, roast duck, chicken or belly pork. Amazing, cheap and... More

Like all the best authentic Chinese restaurants, Happy Seasons looks a little unapproachable from the outside, but I would encourage to look past this as I'd highly recommend eating here. With a fresh plate of three roast, consisting of roast pork belly, char Sui and duck, and a plate of salt and chilli spicy pork chops, along with a bowl... More

Two friends out for dinner. Went for a standard front page meny fully aware of the risk... Soup and four dishes arrieved. Great food, tasty, suckulent, crispy. As we where getting ready to leave the waitress whispered that the main was on the way! We were stuffed, had trouble going through two more portions. Again a delight, sizzling meat, chilli... More

I visited here with my partner yesterday lunch time. We were extremely hungry when we arrived and very pleased with how fast we received our food! We both ordered Chinese tea and the Trio Roast Meats with boiled rice and it was so delicious. The meats you get with this dish are roast duck, charsui and roast belly pork. I'd... More
