Consistently good option in China Town

Always choose this for a quick generic Chinese fix (I am not an expert so wouldn't know if there is a regional slant here). Pretty shabby decor and no real service but great tasting food, reasonable prices and late opening if you've had a couple of beers.

As someone who eats Chinese at least once a week, and has been to China number of times, I am pleased to tell you that this is one of my two favourite Chinese places in Manchester (the other being Fu's, right across the street). Truly outstanding cooking, in a place that really doesn't look promising from the street. But don't... More

We visited last night. This was our 3rd visit. What a fantastic restaurant, excellent food with great service. I was so glad we booked last night as the people were queuing outside the door. Although very busy we never got the feeling of being rushed. Can't wait to go again

This was my 2nd visit this year and I was not disappointed on my return visit. It was extremely busy and this is understandable as the food is tasty, filling and inexpensive We had Char Sui Bun - to be hones I have had better but the salt and pepper chicken wings I sang too followed by the roast meat... It's true that the bbq duck & pork r famous n yummy. However, duck is sold out when v arrived at 6pm. Hot soup & other foods r also good. Large portion n real traditional taste. Suggest at least table for 4 there and u can share 3 or 4 dishes at a time. Otherwise, it's too full. Nice restaurant... More

It was busy and we had to wait for around 15minutes, but I would happily wait an hour to have that meal again. The service was direct but very friendly and attentive, they know how to treat their gusts. The salt and pepper ribs rendered my wife and I speechless - we literally ate in silence. The mains were equally... More

Really busy but we can see why. Great efficient service and the food is the best Chinese we have ever had. Really want to go back.

Called in early evening, very welcoming waitress. Fast efficient service and a banquet for 2 to die for. Will definitely go again when in Manchester. Can't recommend this restaurant enough,is really worth the wait.

I must have walked past this restaurant a thousand times on my daily trip to work. I am so glad we finally stepped inside. There are a tantalising display of roast meats on display in the window, so that is what I ordered, a trio of bbq'd meats with rice, cucumber and a little dish of roasted chilli oil. juicy... More
