Best Chinese eatery in Manchester

Been coming here for years. The roast chinese meats are the freshest you can buy on daily basis. Not much write than to second most of the comments made by others. A great place for a quick lunch or dinner when cooking is not an option.

Last ate here on Sun 21 June. Restaurant being small, there is always a queue for tables as it is such a popular eating place...which says it all really! The food is superb - very authentic, tasty, piping hot and attractively presented. Staff efficient, friendly & obliging. We had Crispy Aromatic Duck with Pancakes, Roast Belly Pork on a bed... More

The place is very small and rather cramp and the service is a bit slow as looking about there aren't that many service staff within the restaurant. The food is surprisingly good and is value for money considering the amount we ate.

The roasted duck rice is actually quite delicious, and the portions are very generous (a plate is probably enough for 2 people). It might be better to order takeaway, as the restaurant environment isn't great. The tables are very cramped together, and the place feels mildly claustrophobic. Also, the carpet was super dirty. Service was tepid, and it seemed like... More

I discovered this restaurant two years ago and I still love it. In my opinion it is one of the best places to eat authentic Chinese food in Chinatown. The place is not elegant, it's small and busy. So if you want a quiet place to eat go elsewhere as in here you might have to share a table with... More

This is another visit during a business trip. I had the roast duck with rice. Rice is a big portion but very less veg. It is easy to take out and quick eat inside. I would come here when I miss the taste of roast duck. :-)

Dirty at the least! Problems with eating in such a place. Food looked good but plate was dirty and glasses too. Overall try to avoid!

Booked a table for 7pm on a Monday night & we were shown straight to our table when we got there. Very popular place as was full. Yes the decor is dated but that is certainly made up by the quality of the food. Also service was excellent. We ordered 3 starters a main course, bottle of wine & beers... More
