After reading all the positive reviews on TripAdvisor I settled on this place here conveniently located in Chinatown Manchester. Ate here on 07/07/14 at lunch time which was rather busy and had to wait for a table, good signs so far. I eventually settled for a "wanton ho fun", roast duck and stir fried broccoli with chopped up garlic. All... More

I order here somewhat regularly. The western type dishes are okay but not great. However the best roasted meats in town. Which sells out very quick on a daily basis. However the customer service is just terrible, I mean I can understand that your busy but there's no need for rude attitude on the phone and the fact they offered... More

If your looking for a chic designer setting then try elsewhere... The decor is not why you visit this little gem. Simply the best food in the area, bar none. The "roasts" are amazing. The food is freshly prepared and the staff are attentive but not in your face. The number of Chinese patrons says a lot. Yes, you may... More

Visited here with the family -arrived about 5.30pm Sunday and there was already a queue outside, always a good sign - we didnt wait long though - on entering I would say that the decor is a little tired. A pleasant waitress brought the menus and took a drinks order which was served very quickly - we selected several starters... More

Good food quick service. Clientele mostly Chinese. Authentic Cantonese food. Good value, large portions. Three very satisfied customers for £35 tip not included.

Very relaxing decor and friendly staff. I asked for green tea to drink and it was the best I've ever had anywhere. I really like prawns, so I had King Prawn Dumpling Soup, which was really good and then King Prawns Batter with Sweet & Sour Dip. I really appreciated having the dip on the side and there was just... Being a HongKongese I know my Cantonese food very well. I was determined to find somewhere I can have Cantonese roast, i.e. roast pork / barbecue pork. After reading the good reviews, I invited a few friends and we went to this restaurant last night. (Thursday night) **Restaurant: We arrived at 6:45pm on a Thursday evening and guess what? We... It may not look much outside but Happy Seasons consistantly has high quality, fresh well served food at reasonable prices. As the number of Chinese Restaurants reduces in the area the Happy Seasons maintains its standards and keeps its customers happy with freshly prepared food of high standard

After many years in the East, the Moles really do like their Cantonese food. On a recent visit to Manchester, strolling through Chinatown early in the evening, we noticed, amongst all the empty restaurants, one that was positively alive with early diners. Despite the unprepossessing entrance, we wandered in and were immediately delighted. A warm welcome and the only remaining... More

I live just a stones throw from this restaurant and the food is great for the price. I first chose it because we walked past and it was full of chinese people with was a good sign! We now use this as our regular chinese takeaway.
