We go there few times a month and food is always good. The banquet is 20 per person and u get a big bowl of soup, mixed starter: ribs, seseame prawn toast seaweed and then crispy duck an main course. All so delicious . The place is always busy with plenty Chinese in which says the place is very good.... More

Don't be put off by the bad exterior. I tried their hor fun and it is one of the best I've tried in the UK. Many were going on about how good the duck was, but to me it was too fat and oily. So do approach that with caution. They operate till pretty late! So its good to go... More

We have been to this restaurant 3 times and consistently good. We took our son and partner last time and he loves his Chinese food and thought it was excellent. It is a cafe atmosphere and sometimes you have to queue in the street to wait to be seated but the wait is worth it.

This place has the best three roast in China Town. However the customer service isn't great but it is defintely worth going there to try the famous roasties, containing char siu, Duck, Pork Belly and the chicken.

Went in here on the off chance a few months back- now a regular- the value for money is good- its a traditional Chinese not portraying to be anything else- a pot of Chinese tea for £1.20- must be the cheapest in town- well worth a visit- I can never finish the banquet- however its always nice the day after... A bit dodgy on the inside but the best Chinese i've tried in Manchester. Bonus is the staff are friendly. Try the roast duck and rice (awesome five spice sauce) and the wonton soup.

Tired restaurant and not one you would take your wife to for a special meal. More about cheap food, good taste experience, a fill up after a night out on the beer. Portion size and prices would make a Uni student happy at the end the month, enough noodles on the plate for three people! Service friendly and attentive. Taste... More

We found this place a few months back, and now we can't go anywhere else for Chinese food! We have had the £20 banquet, and every single dish is perfect! They serve masses of food too. Never leave hungry. We keep taking other people which then gives them a new favourite! The place is quite small and outdated, but usually those... More

Paid a visit again last week. We really love this restaurant. There were four of us. Two had soup and husband and I had Happy Seasons combination. Really fresh and crispy, you can tell everything has just been cooked. Perhaps that's because it's so busy, nothing is left to lie around! I had duck in plum sauce, yummy, and their... More

We stopped here very late one Saturday night during a weekend trip to Manchester just because we were hungry and it happened to be open, so our expectations weren't much. The ambience reminded me of those old school Chinese restaurants with its jammed layout, slightly outdated decor and random musak over the speakers (including a few Christmas songs...mind you we...
