Very busy pub but lots of atmosphere! we use this pub every time we go to manchester. Beer is a reasonabe price but the wine is a lttle on the expensive side, lovely here in summer as you can sit outside an take in Manchester!

Our day in Manchester turned into a mini heatwave so it was good to find somewhere with outdoor seating in the sun in the city centre. We only had a sandwich, it came with chips and salad garnish. Didn't use the loos or go inside so can't comment

I always like to be fair and constructive in these reviews, so here goes... We have visited Sinclairs a few times, beer is fine, and good value as expected from a Sam Smiths pub, though especially good value for the location. The pub has a certain charm about it, though on the last visit the staff did not seem particularly... More

This is an old pub with loads of history, some say it is haunted by the ghost of the old Manchester dog warden who used to drown strays in the river Irwell 200 years ago. It is understood that the dog warden used to frequent the oyster bar and some even say they constantly get a whiff of 'wet dog'... More

Having been here a good few years ago we decided to call in Saturday night... BIG MISTAKE! Rude staff served us drinks from the limited choice on offer. The cheapo plastic glasses don't help the image so I imagine they could be to protect the rude staff whenever someone "loses it" with them? Joking aside this is a historic city... More

Old pub in Manchester City centre. You get the atmosphere of course but the toilets were filthy and disgusting. Just to give you an idea, there was no toilet roll in the gents and dirty toilet rolls were all over the place.

The staff attitude was appalling I ventured in sinclairs after watching a play and missing my train The bar man snatched my money and slammed my change in my hand all whilst swearing to each other My mother and I went upstairs to use the toilet and got told three times to go back downstairs They started clearing away at... Have been going in Sinclairs for over 30 years and it's still my favorite pub in manchester. They have moved the pub twice in its history once on rollers and once brick by brick. It has a great seating area in the summer that gets very, very busy the beer is cheap but good and the atmosphere is just great.... More

After being in the old Wellington walked across to sinclairs oyster bar, expecting the same level!! NO, staff arguing over dirty pots in the lift!!!!!!!! The poor guy that was serving us was blatantly embarrassed by the shocking attitude! Will not return. Maybe cheap but attitude appalling!!!!!!!!
