Consistently Good !

We had not visited our old favourite for a while and decided to visit as part of our Wedding Anniversary weekend. It was pouring with rain outside but we got our usual warm welcome on arrival. Everyone who works here seems to enjoy their jobs which is nice to see and it is so well run by Ettore who... read more

We travelled to Manchester for the Utd Newcastle match. While strolling around Manchester we stumbled upon this restaurant. We were made welcome from the minute we walked in. A beautiful Italian restaurant with very friendly staff. The food was delicious and fast.

I visited this busy restaurant for a special meal with my very dear friend and my daughter at the end of a day of shopping. The restaurant was buzzing with people and the atmosphere warm and friendly. I unfortunately accidentally spilled some white wine some of which splashed on one of the diners who massively and embarrassingly over-reacted with hostility... More

I feel a little guilty about only now writing a review for a restaurant I have been coming to for years and years - but the fact that I have been a regular diner here since it opened should tell you almost everything you need to know about Piccolino in central Manchester. The food here is consistently and reliably good.... More

Piccolino tends to be our go-to spot for dinner when we're shopping in Manchester. We've never been let down. The pizzas are always a safe choice but the variety of pasta dishes are always brilliant - in particular the pine nut chicken pasta, or the salmon pasta. The service has always been spot on; always there when we need it,... More

Visited here for a spot of lunch, having noticed it while at Starbucks. Really wish I'd walked on by. Firstly, the restaurant was fairly empty but yet we were sat on a ripped leather seat, right next to where the waiters were nosily banging cutlery in the drawer. So offputting. We were given complimentary bread - 4 small cubes. I... More
