Disappointing

We ate here in Valentines weekend, based on a recommendation from our hotel concierge and I can say truly we were very disappointed. The food & ambience were nothing special. The tables are very close together. I can say we won't be returning

Out with a group of friends (14) for a friends birthday. Nice enough place but not great value for money. I had the crab ravioli which I wasn't too keen on, but this was not the fault of the restaurant as one of the other members of our party ate it Nd said he thought it was very nice. A... More

We have been to this restaurant on many occasions and again this time it did not fail to impress. Went with the family - wife and two children, one of which is a little fussy but this made no difference to the staff when ordering as my son especially likes deep fried mozzarella which was not on the menu but... I booked a table for our family to visit after watching a show in Manchester for my sons 8th birthday. I called on the day to confirm my booking and asked was I was too late to book a of a birthday cake. Unfortunatley I was as they needed 2-3 days notice (my own fault). However they said they would... Stopped for a quick Sunday lunch here before departing for home. The service was exceptional when empty and stayed exceptional when the restaurant started to fill up. The Sunday lunch is two for £25 which is great value considering how much we enjoyed ourselves and how much food you get for the price, my boyfriend and I were both suitably... More

It was my birthday and I decided to try a new resturant in Manchester and I love Italian food so went to Piccolino which did not disappoint. The staff was very nice and welcoming and service was excellent. I had a chicken dish which was lovely presented and tasted delicious, the only criticism was that I had to buy the... More

I am yet to eat here so excuse this premature review, though we have every intention of doing so after our experience. We had been in Manchester all day with friends and were on our way for a quick drink before parting for our trains home. The snow came down and we decided to dive into Piccolino for our drink... What a great room this is. Brilliant service, by people who know what they're doing, backed up by a kitchen that can deliver time after time. Cant recommend it highly enough. For anyone... couples, families, groups etc. They just know what they're doing.
