We're no strangers to Piccolino. It's our place to go! It never fails to make us happy. The welcome, the wine, the food and the service are all stunning. Doesn't matter when you go. They don't try to hurry you, they just try very hard to make the whole experience the best they can. Thanks again for a great evening... More

Having been to Piccolino's in the past for drinks we were looking forward to eating there but it turned out to be a bit of a disaster because we both ordered lobster for our main course and it was dreadful. Mine was so salty it was inedible and my wife's was practically non existent in her linguini. We did complain... More

I booked Piccolino for dinner for a large group of work colleagues whilst we were at a sales meeting in Manchester, and having recommended it I was desperate for it to live up to its billing. It did and more! The service from Ettore and his staff was superb, and the food seemed even better than usual - starters, mains... More

Just off Albert Square, this restaurant is always busy both during the day and at night for good reason. The food is made to a very high standard here as the menu has a varied choice of meats, pasta, pizza etc. The desserts are also well made especially the chocolate fondant and their specials menu is also very nice.

The attention to detail from the management is amazing. Customer service cannot be beaten and you can see that the people love working there by the retention of staff. The food is excellent but coupled with the atmosphere it takes some beating

Previously had wonderful meals. We had very delicious starters. But we all had pasta mains, and they just seemed to be a little lifeless and bland. Even the menus themselves were dog-eared and worn. Just uninspiring. As always excellent staff but hope it returns to its former glory.

My partner and I decided to have a last minute night away in Manchester and we ended ended in Piccolinos. We were immediately greater by the host/manager who referred to my good lady as 'the boss' and treated us like honoured guests from start from start to finish. Oh yeah....the food and wine was fantastic! Will definitely come again!

Dined here many times & they never fail to give you a great dining experience. Excellent service, great menu choice executed perfectly - I would consider this to be the best Italian restaurant in Manchester.

This was a walk in visit on a busy sunday afternoon, we were shown to a table straight away, although a bit cramped and close together the two of us enjoyed some good food and a nice bottle of wine. The staff were all friendly and helpful .
