Been to several Piccolinos in the northwest and the experience is always pretty similar throughout them. The menu is the same so tends to be the same . My wife and I shared the antipasti plate to start whilst our son tucked into the trofiete di pollo which he always devours. I had the carbonara which is nice just nice... More

This is the second time this month we have had Sunday lunch here .At a very reasonable £25 for two we have tried the pork & today the beef! I would absolutely recommend this restaurant ! The food was delicious and the beef cooked to our taste beautifully (pink). The first time we came we brought our 9 month old... More

12 of us appeared to "enjoy" a works do. The service was good but the food was pretty average. That didn't dampen our evening, the company made up for the lack of inspiration in the food. Andy (Bolton).

What a shame. I have been going to this place on and off for the past five years but won't be going again! We had a fish platter for starter. What an absolute disgrace 18£ it said it was lightly fried mixed fish. It was actually a deep fat fried mess with no flavour. De battered a lot of the... More

I've eaten at this restaurant many times, but I won't eat here again. Tonight I had possibly the worst meal I've eaten at a Manchester restaurant. Supposedly a 'rib eye' steak priced at £18.00. What a sad eating experience. Clearly frozen beef, looked and tasted 'boiled'. First offering was over-cooked, watery and practically inedible, came without any of the vegetables... More

Came here with 2 colleagues on a Thursday evening so not too busy. The service was excellent, we had a choice of seating, the waiters were polite and helpful and the place has plenty of space and seating. I wasn't drinking and one of us had only a couple of beers so I can't comment on the wine. The starters,... More

The food tonight is very bland and under seasoned. Very disappointed. Been here twice now - first and last! !! So many better Italian restaurants in Manchester than this.

I dined here last Friday evening with a group of 7 other friends. I was pleasantly surprised to see the huge size of the salad starter dishes as my parents had eaten here a couple of years ago and complained that the lamb main contained mainly bone with a couple of fork fulls of lamb. I didn't have a starter... More

Piccolino staff are very welcoming and friendly. Reasonably busy day, but still gave us choice of table. Felt very looked after without being intrusive. Menu gives very good choice of true Italian food. Service excellent and so was the food. Did not feel rushed at all and took our time finishing off the wine. If too full for a dessert,... More

Came here last Saturday for a works dinner, the atmosphere was very good as it was very busy. The menu covered all tastes not just pizza and pasta and the food that my group has all looked really good. I had a steak which was a little more expensive than i would usually pay but I wasn't paying so it... More
