Nice but pricey

Four of us had a meal on a Friday evening. The restaurant was far from full, but still had a good atmosphere. The staff were very welcoming and attentive, giving great service. The food was generally enjoyable, although the lasagne ordered by two of the group was rather dry. On the negative side... read more

Great Food, great atmosphere, great service and staff. We arrived without booking a table and even though the restaurant was busy we were only sat at the bar for about 10 minutes before being seated. Great night had by all.

Nice food, good service and a good atmosphere for a Sunday lunch. Menu was good with an option of a Sunday Roast 😀 for those that don't like Italian food 😧.

A very friendly welcome on arrival. Plenty of choice on the menu and we were hard pushed to decide what to have. Finally settled on excellent calamari / prawns for starters followed by pasta and tiramisu with a lovely bottle of wine. The place was full, as to be expected on a Saturday evening, but the staff were very attentive... More

Came here for my mums birthday as we wanted to try something new. The staff were friendly and polite and the bruschetta and salmon were to die for. We enjoyed a bailey's coffee for dessert, and the staff then came over to sing happy birthday and gave my mum an ice cream in a martini glass. It was all very... More

No matter how much we might contemplate lunching elsewhere in Manchester - Piccolino keeps drawing us back. The welcome is always warm and many of the longer serving staff always remember us, even if we've not visited for a while. Super value, varied and scrumptious lunch menu - we shared wonderfully crisp and light calamari and perfect mushroom risotto to... More

I have tried veal Milanese all over the UK and in Italy, it is always served with breaded Veal and a side portion of pasta, sadly at Piccolinos in Manchester, it was an expensive £25 for the dish and NO side portion, so I had to then order pasta seperatly. I must say it was not worth the money we... More

First visit for a couple of years, having always enjoyed this chain previously but, sadly, this time, not impressed! Garlic bread with tomato was really salty and not pleasant at all. We worked out that it seemed to be in the tomato sauce, so this didn’t bode well for the pizza I had on order. Indeed, this was also too... More

Treat for the project teamm on completion of the works. Excellent night out with superb food and absolutely attentive staff, none of which could be faulted. Would I recommend, without a doubt.

We brought a group of 40 people here for a Sunday night dinner. The staff, particularly Jenna who took our booking, were unbelievably accommodating and helpful. They were unfased when we kept updating our order, right until the day we arrived, they accommodated one member of our party with very complex allergies, and above all they served us excellent food...
