We went to Piccolino after seeing that they do a roast dinner for £25 for two people, which seemed like a good deal. Upon arriving we received a very warm welcome by the staff which is something I have not experienced in a restaurant for a very long time; they treated us as if we were regulars when in fact... We had a good meal here on a busy Saturday lunchtime. The food was very nice and not bad value - we both ate from the lunchtime menu, so had a starter and main for £21 (I think) each. It was more expensive than I was expecting for a chain, but ultimately the food was worth the money spent. Good-sized... More

I'm a regular (well, a dozen times a year) to this Italian eatery in the heart of Manchester, but have never done a review. We visited on Wednesday evening, having just returned from Sicily that day, for a friend's birthday. What can I say? Piccolino never disappoints, on service nor food, but on our most recent visit it surpassed all... More

Had a meal here with friends. Food was excellent , typically Italian, beautifully presented and very tasty. Staff were friendly and attentive. Service was a bit slow however there were 3 large parties in the restaurant.

Booked this restaurant through top table for 6 people on a Sunday afternoon ,I'd heard the food was very good but I'd also found out that they did a great Sunday lunch which some of my friends wanted. On arrival our table was already set for us and 1st impressions were very good front service great. The food and service... More

We ate here in Valentines weekend, based on a recommendation from our hotel concierge and I can say truly we were very disappointed. The food & ambience were nothing special. The tables are very close together. I can say we won't be returning

Out with a group of friends (14) for a friends birthday. Nice enough place but not great value for money. I had the crab ravioli which I wasn't too keen on, but this was not the fault of the restaurant as one of the other members of our party ate it Nd said he thought it was very nice. A... More

We have been to this restaurant on many occasions and again this time it did not fail to impress. Went with the family - wife and two children, one of which is a little fussy but this made no difference to the staff when ordering as my son especially likes deep fried mozzarella which was not on the menu but...
