I dined here last Friday evening with a group of 7 other friends. I was pleasantly surprised to see the huge size of the salad starter dishes as my parents had eaten here a couple of years ago and complained that the lamb main contained mainly bone with a couple of fork fulls of lamb. I didn't have a starter... More

Piccolino staff are very welcoming and friendly. Reasonably busy day, but still gave us choice of table. Felt very looked after without being intrusive. Menu gives very good choice of true Italian food. Service excellent and so was the food. Did not feel rushed at all and took our time finishing off the wine. If too full for a dessert,... More

Came here last Saturday for a works dinner, the atmosphere was very good as it was very busy. The menu covered all tastes not just pizza and pasta and the food that my group has all looked really good. I had a steak which was a little more expensive than i would usually pay but I wasn't paying so it... More

Had a big family lunch on a rainy saturday. The place is very nice, lovely decor and a good vibe. Food was excellent, service very efficient. Drinks are a bit pricey but I've come to accept that in the city centre. All in all a very pleasant couple of hours eating good food. Well done Piccolino.

When in need of a pizza fix this is the place - tell them how you want it e.g. thin and crispy and you'll be sure to get it - and friendly service.

Warm friendly greeting seated straight away at a nice window table. We visited on a Weds lunchtime and went in just on the sheer number of diners as we walked by, if that many people were eating there on a lunchtime it must be good. It was, we both had the crab linguine it was very nice, service was good... More

We visited with a friend who was in Manchester for the evening. Managed to park on the street right outside which was a bonus. The place was busy when we arrived at 7.30pm and there was a real energy about it. Noisy but it was fun, just what you would hope for in a city centre. The food was fab,... More

Popular restaurant, great food. A little pricey but i expect that. The managers huddled around the front desk seem to think they are better than the customers! standard italian arrogance.

As regular visitors to Piccolino's in Manchester, it was our first choice for a family celebration. Knowing the World Cup was on made it an even better choice we thought...Wrong. We we're rushed through our meal, so much so we had our garlic breads at 8.55pm and by 9.10 our main courses had arrived- somehow we had squeezed our starters... More
