Food: Gorgeous, we both ordered steak rump and fillet. Both delicious. Only very minor complaint would be the knives. Yes they're sharp but my index finger and thumb were in agony!!! I asked the waitress for a steak knife and she said they don't give them out?! Service: very pleasant Value for money: Slightly overpriced but did really enjoy!

Had no idea what to expect as we entered Gaucho Argentine restaurant but our expectations were exceeded, a truly incredible setting, an old church on St Marys street, off Deansgate. My wife had to start salmon tartar, myself I had empanadas, both starters were really Tasty with a capital T, mains my wife had plaice with mussels in a celeriac... More

The food here is like nothing I've had before. The waitress was very nice and spoke us through the types of meat. So much to choose from! Everything was perfect. Food was exquisite exactly what we wanted. Delicious!!

We've been going to Gaucho for years but it was our first time in the Manchester one. The service was excellent as always, very helpful and friendly staff. The Sunday lunch menu is a new one from Gaucho and it is excellent. 3 courses for under £30 and we left feeling really full up, had to walk it off afterwards... More

We've been regular visitors to Gaucho for many years now and it remains our city centre favourite. Somehow, they continue to raise the bar every year! Absolutely stunning interior, high ceiling with mezzanine & stage areas overlooking the open kitchen, beautiful decor with the complete 'wow' factor, and we love the low lighting in here. Every table is served a... More

I love this place simply for the quality of meat that they provide. The ambience is fab, restaurant looks really trendy. The steak was cooked to perfection, I had a medium ribeye, my boyfriend had a medium-rare rump, both were lovely. The smoked garlic hollandaise sauce is mouth-wateringly good, as was the field mushrooms and creamed spinach that we ordered.... More

We visited with friends and whilst the food was generally fine, the Sunday lunch menu was not as hot as it could be and given the fact that it was served on wooden platters meant it became cold before we could finish it. This could have been less of any issue had normal plates been used. The general decor is... More
