I don’t write reviews very often; however I feel the need to warn people about this place. Don’t get me wrong, if this was a twenty £ ahead place it would be fine. People who have rated this have being a good restaurant really need to get out more often. Steaks where ok but very limited in everything else, they... More

Booked about 3 weeks in advance at 9pm 21/11/14 got there at 8.50pm. The Hostess who 'greeted' us looked us up and down and at first ignored us. At the time we entered 3 other couples were stood waiting. Eventually we were 'acknowledged' and taken through to a waiting area. Nobody offered to take our coats so we just sat... More

We had an excellent lunch at Gaucho on Sunday. The interior of the restaurant is stunning, and Peter our waiter was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the food and wine. My wife had a Gaucho burger and my son and I both had steaks. All were first rate and perfectly cooked. The chips, fried in beef dripping, were also fabulous... More

Beautiful place, great decor, good staff attention, but avearge food. 5 off us 4 had steak, asked for Medium, got rare, sent it back, came back again a little better, but still raw in the middle, unforgivable @ £35.00 a steak. Damn shame, wont return.

We've been here a few times and the last couple of visits have not been as pleasurable as previously. The surroundings are excellent but we found the quality of the food has gone down and the service not as it was. There are plenty of places in Manchester charging the same or less and managing to get everything right.

I booked Gaucho on the recommendation of a colleague . The interior and setting was excellent and we were made to feel most welcome , the food was good quality , however I thought it a tad expensive , we had , had the 6 course taster menu at The French a few weeks before ! This restaurant vying for... More

We had been looking forward to this meal for a while, however it turned out to be a big disappointment. The way we were treated was unacceptable, understandably we were slightly louder than surrounding tables of 2 but if you don't want any sort of noise from a larger party table don't take the booking, and especially don't seat them... We have visited a few other Gaucho restaurants in London and knew what to expect. The atmosphere at Gaucho is calm and nice, the food was as we remembered it and the staff were making sure we had everything we wanted. First class!

I can't praise this place high enough. Wonderful food, staff who clearly loved working there and understood where the food was from and were able to make recommendations based on what we'd order, lovely atmosphere. Simply a great place to eat, fine dining saving for my next trip!

This was our first visit and we will definitely be returning. It was a busy Saturday night so the service wasn't fast, but it was still good and the steaks were amazing! Great decor and atmosphere. It's not cheap but worth the money.
