Description: The stunning Gaucho Manchester restaurant, set in a converted Grade II Listed Methodist Hall (the organ is still in residence), is spread over two lively mezzanine areas, with an open industrial kitchen and three private rooms. Situated by Deansgate and close to the Arndale Centre, Argentinean beef is the soul of the menu at Gaucho Manchester, which flies in the matured meat direct from Buenos Aires, although there are plenty of other equally succulent cuts to whet your appetite. This luxurious and spacious restaurant is also the perfect place to enjoy a large Argentine wine list and regular live music.

By far the best steak I have ever had, it was delicious and cooked to perfection, the sides were also excellent, the staff were professional, friendly and knowledgeable. The restaurant itself is modern and stylish and had a very nice ambience, I would highly recommend gaucho to anyone and I would definitely return again myself, fantastic!

We visited early on a Saturday evening for hubby's birthday and the place was already very busy so do make sure you book. We opted to go straight for main courses and were shown the selections of cuts of steaks by a lovely well informed waiter, who gave great responses to my questions, as I was unsure which cut to... The best steak experience you could ever wish for! Delicious. Pretentious yes, but what a fine dining restaurant this is, very helpful confident staff. Courteous , attentive. Understanding. Even beardless now the management has banned all facial hair! Must be because the boss is bald! From Jamie the operations manager to Lindsay the underling everybody pulling in the same direction,... Having been to Gaucho at Picadilly, London several times, we were very happy to find our favourite steak here in Manchester as well. Food was good but service disappointing. Busy waiter heard but didn't listen, when asked if we were ok we complained about a very cold AC blowing straight at us but she left without a word nor any... More

Service was fantastic. Loved the whole steak plank introduction as the menu seemed a little daunting without the explanation. Chorizo starter was top. Fillet steak medium was the best I've ever had and worth every penny! Even loved the little salsa they give you with your drinks at the bar. Can't wait for another.

Saturday lunch, 9 girls the place was empty so we expected pretty quick service. Not so. We had to call over the waitress for the drinks order, the food order, more drinks orders and there were only two other tables with diners. We all opted for the lunch menu which was good value and the food was excellent. The Rib... More

We visited for Sunday lunch and was lovely and quiet. The decor was modern with a twist with their cow skin chairs. We all had a lovely meal, one fish, one rump and one filet. The steaks come with one side and one sauce. It would have been nice to have two sides, fries and some vegetables or salad. We... More
