Can't fault the meat, but this Gaucho falls far short of those we have been... More

I just came from Gaucho, treating my big sister after her arrival yesterday from Kuwait. So I was looking for somewhere nice and I'm extremely happy that I chose Gaucho. Starting from the atmosphere, decoration and music were just perfect! The food was amazing! Had the marinated steak and the fillet one and we shared, and from a carnivore who... More

Went there for lunch. The place was almost empty so no atmosphere. Given that it was so quiet service was slow and not very attentive. Wine expensive. Starters ok. Enchiladas at £4.95 each were ok but nothing special. Good selection of steaks. My bearnaise sauce didn't seem freshly made but it might have been. Great chips.

We visited Manchester for an anniversary break. I booked Gaucho online and asked for a nice table as it was an anniversary dinner. We got a lovely table as requested and we're immediately congratulated on our anniversary. The service we received from all the staff we came across was really outstanding. The steaks were good, but I must be honest... More

As a long time Gaucho visitor and fan my recent visit to Manchester was a combination of the usual excellence I'd come to expect from a food and table service point of view, and unexpectedly poor service from the bar and reception/door staff. One of the reasons that I go back to Gaucho over and over again is the food... More

Great atmosphere and friendly service. Steaks were good but not exceptional. Mine had quite a bit of gristle in the middle but it was very tasty. Lovely spinach on the side. It was a good evening because of the atmosphere and the company rather than the food. Bill was pricey for two main courses and a bottle of bubbly....

Gaucho grill is one of my favourite places to grab a steak, great for evening family meals but also for lunch time bites with friends, definitely recommend!

Visited for mothers day. Staff were very polite and friendly, helpful with the menu and different cuts of meat. The food was excellent, the steak perfectly cooked. I would say that overall the price is a bit steep, it seems the location and reputation of the restaurant accounts for this. The music was also eclectic and a bit intrusive. I... More

Where to start, myself and a colleague were in Manchester on business, one of my favourite cities ! Why did we choose to eat here? In fairness , we didn't have a reservation, so when asked to wait and have a drink for a table in twenty minutes , that's fair. I was surprised to be kept waiting for 40... More
