East Z East, good atmosphere great food, although a little too hot (even the biryani) so if you like your curry mild go for a korma or similar. We will going back again and would recommend to you.

Have eaten here a few times and never been disappointed. Food is always served quickly and tastes great. A little on the pricier side is the only negative that springs to mind!

I heard nothing but good things about this restaurant.... I will never be going back. First lets start with the food because that's what you go to restaurants for. It was very average, I have worse curries in my life but I have had much better. It was cold, the rice looked like it had been reheated as it was... More

We were really looking forward to this meal, was highly recommended by others, yet when we arrived, we were almost instantly forced to move tables by the waitor. We were then moved to a smaller table and brought what appeared to be the wrong dishes, when asking the manager about this, he didn't take interest in us and told us... More

Disgusting. Worst meal this year and worst curry since Benidorm 96! Tasteless, greasy, fatty and terrible service. Used to be good a couple of years ago. Wouldn't go again if it were free, and it's certainly not!

On business, and visited this restaurant while staying at the McDonald hotel, which is a short walk away. To my mind, the restaurant feels a little like it's trying to 'mimic' the larger chain 'Akbars', and does so really rather well. Both my courses arrived promptly and were very tasty. Service was a little functional but friendly enough. Would happily... More

I love that they ask how you want it and will discuss the dishes with you and cook to your taste. It's spicy but really flavourful, the naans are huge so order fewer than you normally would!

This original East Z East, as well as its bigger, more glam sibling East Z East Riverside, are undoubtedly one of the best upmarket curry restaurants in Manchester. One thing that you cannot fault is the food, with something to suit every palate from authentic Indian specialities to more well-known British Indian favourites. All the little details are there, from... More

As we were staying at the Ibis for a weekend event in Manchester Uni, we booked this restaurant for 9pm on the Saturday. When we arrived the entrance hall was heaving, but as we had a booking we pushed our way in, and saw the staff to check in and get a drink. At 9.20,whilst stood at the bar drinking... More
