Great Indian meal as always

We've been to this restaurant numerous times and the tandoori fish and rogan josh was excellent. The pickle tray is huge with loads of variety - puts other Indians to shame

This is a fabulous Indian restaurant that stands out from the rest: great food, easy atmosphere and cocktails that work with the spices to get you going ... knowledgeable staff move it from a meal to an experience... We were in the Princess Street branch and I've also eaten at the Liverpool branch with the same quality and experience in... More

We tried out eastZeast as it was right behind our hotel. We were pleasantly surprised when we found out that it was an award winning halal restaurant. It was voted Best Manchester Restaurant 5 years running. We ordered prawn cocktail for starters and some papadums. Both were good and reasonable portions. We ordered 3 curry dishes; the king prawns, chicken... More

Was in Manchester this week, staying at the Palace Hotel, didnt want to walk too far, so opted to go to the EastZeast which is next to the IBIS hotel. NIcely decorated, friendly and attentive staff, had a look at the menu, and was surprised that couldnt see anything like Naga, as I like a hot dish, so instead, opted... More

Booked this restaurant as it was attached to the Ibis hotel where I was staying. Went on a Monday night. Quiet. Staff very attentive, but relaxed & we actually hung out there for nearly 3 hours. Shared the seafood appetizer - a bit too much breading, like curried fish fingers, but nice. Poppadums & dips delicious & fresh. Had the... More

Booked a table online after reading rave reviews. This meal was to celebrate mine and Jackies engagement. On arriving we were greeted by a surly male receptionist..told to wait at the busy bar, where there was just one barman.Soon a waitress took us downstairs to our table. We passed a group of men at a table all very loud and swearing also my fiancé... The food was absolutely delicious I have no complaints about the standard or size of the portions. Unfortunately the service let the restaurant down, it was clear the main aim of the evening was the turn around as many tables as possible.

Went last night for a late night curry, don't be put off because it seems like a chain or that it's under the ibis hotel. Fabulous food, great service very authentic flavored. Forget the curry mile/ hit and miss. Realistic portions tasty lamb, slow cooked melted in my moth. I normally won't order lamb curry as its flash fried and... More

Mid week early evening curry. The place was heaving. Consequently we had to sit near the door which was rather cold. Ordered white wine which was warm but they quickly got ice and cold water to chill it. The food was delicious and quick to come but fresh. Generous portions. We all enjoyed it. I have been to the other... More
