Ate here with some work colleagues mid week and was very impressed by the service, great choice and would say that all in all it was a very pleasant experience and we'd be back. Great choice of menu and our waiter was lovely - a bit of flair and fun. We were offered complimentary coffees which was a lovely touch... More

These are sincerely THE best punjabi restaurants outside of India that I've ever been to in 30 years of travelling. I had the pleasure recently to go the the Princes Street branch, having only ever been to the Liverpool restaurant before. Wow. How do they manage to keep such a high quality at every restaurant of theirs? If you like... More

I've not been to the Upper Brook Street branch for a long time. Recently I have tried Whitefield which is mediocre and Deansgate which is like a refractory dining room and I have to state that the original is still the best of the Manchester branches and the quality of food and service is better than most Indian cuisine restaurants... Very busy place, so as you'd expect a little wait for a table around 30mins we waited but thankfully a decent bar area where we enjoyed a few drinks. Poppadams were ok but the pickle tray was great! Around 8... More

Had a meal here with my husband and a friend on Valentines night to celabrate my husbands birthday. The restaurant was very nice and the service was excellent. The waiter we had was very patient as we asked him to return to us to take our order 3 times as we were busy laughing & chatting. The food when we... More

We booked for valentines night and was not disappointed. We arrived and were seated almost immediately. Service was prompt and considering how busy they were we were pleasantly surprised. We ordered and our food came quick. I had a Punjabi dish and was glad that i did. It was delicious, not too spicy and filling. We had a large naan... More

visted here last night with family and things have changed here a lot. Called at 9.30 to ask for the current wait time for a table of 4 to which they responded "we cannot give a time". I know i should have taken the hint however having visited here in the past we decided to give it a go as... More

Heard a great deal about this established from friends & family so decided to give it a try on my anniversary...Huge mistake... the food is average & the mocktails toooo expensive. My partner ordered the East z East mixed meat starter to share which came without the advertised chicken wings. The lamb chops were bland with hardly any meat on... More
