Forget the outside busy world

The environment inside this place inspire peace and love. I don't recommend nobody to came here with limited time, the staff serve you with care but really slow. I use to came here in the week and I love it. Great for mums with children's. Lots of great gifts for kids.

I would actually give this 2.5 -went on a saturday with a friend. We had tea which was lovely-gorgeous tea pots and little timers, it was very good. The savoury food was really nice - pretty standard but nicely done. Had a raspberry and chocolate cake which was the most dry cake ive ever had and a pear and ginger... More

Had some toast and a couple of coffees. Both were ok. Expected them to have some pastries on a Saturday morning, not just toast. Perhaps we were to early. At least they were open at 9am. Everywhere else seemed to open after 10am. One member of staff friendly, the other must of had a late night. I quite liked the... More

We came across this cafe just by chance as it was the adjoining shop we visited first which is really nice selling different gifts and cards etc. We decided to have lunch there as it looked quite nice. The staff are very friendly and there is a nice atmosphere in the cafe. We enjoyed our coffee's and the spicy bean... More

I have to admit that this is possibly my favourite Cafe in the entire UK :) The atmosphere is absolutely charming and so individual! Perfect for lunch with friends or just reading your favourite classic with a superb milkshake or coffee. The staff is always very friendly and helpful, in fact I was given a reading recommendation that would change... More

This has been a bit of a favourite of mine for several years, but its been a few months since my last visit...Got a bit of a shock seeing the new look.... Change is no bad thing once in a while and elements of the revamp are an improvement... more open feel and better 'restrooms' downstairs. Sorry but I think... More

Oklahoma is, by far, one of the best eating/shopping experiences I have had in Manchester. From the refined, but unpretentious, cafe menu to the die-for coffees (one of the best brews I have had in England full stop) to the gorgeous, reasonably priced gift shop, I find it hard to find fault with this place. The staff are genuine and... More

I love this place. One of the original Northern Quarter Cafes and still the best...After its recent refit and menu revamp this place may have put off the old Okla toastie die hards but it has raised its game with a more mature yet still fun menu... Lovely salads, soups and original combinations A great spot for lunch or just a... More
