Love this place. Basic (very) Asian cafe. Great for a quick lunch. Superb kebabs fresh salads and fresh breads. The traditional 3 and rice is also homemade and too notch and its for (virtually nothing)

I used to eat in This & That very often as a student in the mid 90s and was knocked out by the quality and value then. Having lived abroad for 5 years I was interested to return and see how it was. I got a lovely welcome "How are you, where are you living now?" and enjoyed a classic... More

This is a great find but don't tell the world, the Northern Qt has already been invaded by those from down south in which I mean the Printworks. This is a great place just down the alleyway from Trof bar, to look at it from the outside you couldn't tell. Its very basic like a canteen in a factory but... More

My son and I had been trying to go for a time but the opening hours had defeated us. So when we did manage to grab a late lunch on a Sunday we were looking forward to it. You don't go here for the deco which is shabby at best so it must be the food or the price. Well... More

The restaurant, if you can call it that, is in a very down run street and with very basic furniture, utensils etc and provides basic curry food at cheap prices. A fiver should give you a substantial lunch. The food is doled out like a school dinner. It is more akin to a greasy spoon type environment and one to... More

I visited here with two colleagues and have been a few times. It does serve very good food at a cheap price but the server was rude to my colleague for no particular reason which spoiled the visit. It has gone downhill a little bit recently. Would certainly recommend going if you want a cheap and cheerful curry. However, if... More

We love to go here, often. I tend to get the rice with 3 veggie curries at only £3.50, bargain! Great for lunchtime or after-work/pre-pub time, although we're often too full afterwards! There is no self control here.

The queues here confirm its popularity. Curries are good but not as tasty and we'll spiced as Kabana. They can also be lukewarm sometimes. Generally very good value but certainly not the place to impress a loved one!

Tucked away down an alley off Thomas St, this diner is nothing to look at but don't let that put you off. I'll make more of an effort to decipher the menu next time I go there. For my first visit I had an excellent rice and three, lamb off the bone was especially good. And all for a fiver.
