A 10/10 from start to finish!

I was at the Rhône Food&Wine Dinner last night. The food was stunning from start to finish. The beef casserole ("daube") was as soft as butter. The tarte tatin was the best I ever had. And the wines were absolutely beautiful, especially the Châteauneuf du Pape Saint Roch with the beef. The owner... read more

Went here recently with family for a birthday for the first time. Btw parking is a nightmare especially when it's raining so we had a bit of a walk first off. The restaurant inside had two areas, one side was very much like a Sunday carvery-type restaurant whilst the other seemed to have a more upmarket feel. The starters were... More

I haven't been here for some years , but to celebrate a family birthday we went last Tuesday night . The place was packed , the food fantastic and well priced , good vegetarian options and pudding wines . Definately a place to go back to .

I came here for my works Christmas party and it was brilliant. There were around 15 of us - large groups can be accommodated with some notice. The food was divine - I had the steak which was just melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The decor is lovely - it really enhances the dining experience and makes it that bit extra special -... More

have been to this restaurant a couple of times before as a group but decided to go as a couple. As always horrendous street parking. Make sure you leave in plenty of time to find parking space of get a taxi. Waited 5 or so minutes for a table. it was literally one in one out. When booking on line... More

We have been eating here since it opened 30 years ago and have never been anything but delighted. The menu is not vast but fabulous with specials in addition to a la carte. There are also early bird deals. The food is seasonal and beautifully cooked. A great select of wines with recommendations to suit your food. Went on Saturday... More

This one of my favourite restaurants and has been for many years - visit on a regular basis and never disappointed. Always excellent food and what I consider to be a good prices for the quality and standard of food served.
