Hands down best Vietnamese in Manchester. I found and now grab a Bánh mì a couple of times a week when rushing from the town hall to the station. For the price, you will not find a better sandwich in town. (I would argue for any price!) - Noodles are also top notch if you have time to sit. Dont... More

This place is becoming a lunchtime treat of mine. With a basement cafeteria type vibe there's no pretence or unnecessary frills, just tasty food that comes quickly and is served by friendly staff. The Bánh mì baguettes are a cheap but very tasty (and filling) lunch option (tip: add extra meat, like adding pâté to the pork slices). The heaviness... More

I'm ashamed to have lived around the corner from this place and not known of it. I first went under the recommendation of M-dog Manchester who recommends eateries and fishes out the best deals - find him on facebook. I loved this place and have returned a dozen time in the past 3 months. the food is fresh and authentic... More

Given raving TripAdvisor reviews, we went to I Am Pho with high expectations, only to be terribly disappointed. The Vietnamese coffee (£2.20) was very much watered down, with condensed milk overwhelming the taste of the already weak coffee. Number 19, a raw beef dish with noodles (£7.50) had terribly salty broth and the lemongrass stir fried chicken with rice (£7.50)... More

We went here on a week night close to closing time and were delighted with the selection of summer rolls we ordered. They were very tasty and fresh. For a main we both ordered Pho and although we normally have no trouble finishing what is on our plates this was too much grub. A little less liquid would have meant... More

Cause I am Pho in high rate so let's tried on Sunday night. Down to basement, it is a simple layout with some bamboo decorate. We ordered mango and lychee drink which was a nice cold drink. I ordered fried minced crab meat with egg in soup noodles, as i saw the photo on menu. It looked a bit spicy... More

There's about a million restaurants in Manchester's Chinatown, so this one is easily overlooked. Which is a shame because it deserves much better. The food is delicious, the prices - reasonable, and the service is quick and courteous. Some might be upset by rather plain white decor, but I think the lack of fake gold and statues of Buddha only... More

Tried this place a couple of weeks ago after walking past it I dont know how many times. Portion sizes were huge, I reckon a couple of starters and a shared main would have done for us no problem. Oh and the Iced coffee is very addictive.... especially if you have a spicy dish or two. Was quiet when we... More

Straters very average maybe except pork skewers, Pho was really really good but beef with noodles really boring. Bit too average to go back to and I really wanted to like this place.
