Tried the pho & bahn mai

Both were lovely, never had either before, but always wanted to. The pho was gorgeous!! So comforting & clean tasting! Beautifully silky noodles & the broth, crystal clear & full of flavor. Place is a wee bit drab, but kinda adds to the atmosphere.

Really nice place in the middle of China Town Manchester. Nothing fancy. It's just all about the food. Which is fresh clean and tasty. The Pho is the real draw here. I have tried several from the menu and all are delicious. Quick polite service and cheap prices make this place worth returning to again and again. The Banh Mi... More

Visited I Am Pho again today and once again this is good food and a pleasant change from the rest of China Town. If you are a local or a visitor it is easy to get to and worth a visit, You can have a good choice of starters and main courses. What to recommend ? just go and try,... More

Lovely meal at I am pho today. Summer rolls were incredible, and the chicken and chilli with rice was also very good. Food reasonably priced as is the alcohol. Would recommend and will be back!

We had the beef noodles and prawn with pork noodles. They were both delicious! The soup was fantastic but we felt slightly thirsty afterwards, not sure if that's the effect of having some msg in the soup. The portion was massive and was quite filling without any starter or dessert. It's our favourite place for Vietnamese food in manchester. Would... More

At first it feels like a Vietnamese spin on a greasy spoon cafe, but the food is worth experiencing, especially for the price. A little let down by service at the end, waiting for table to be cleared and for the bill despite it only being half busy. Other than that it was a relaxed atmosphere and I would strongly... More

We enjoyed our food here and the staff were pleasant too. Its more of a quick bite to eat place (in my opinion) than a lavish establishment for a meal. The non-spicy chicken Pho was lacking a little - perhaps I should have opted for the hotter one. The summer rolls (prawn and pork) were outstanding hence the great overall... More

I've previously been to Vnam but thought I'd try somewhere new so gave it a visit. Menu has a good variety to choose from and the noodle soup dishes are HUGE! We really struggled to finish on top of the starters. Highly recommend the wood ear and pork rice rolls and the raw beef pho. I think they use what... More

i looked forward to trying my first Vietnamese meal with my girlfriend and was left full, but slightly disappointed with my experience. We ordered what my partner missed from home but unfortunately it didn't taste authentic as our different soups tasted almost alike. The waiter looked pretty annoyed in having to do his job too. The place filled me up,... More

It is a great place but follow this advice: Order Saigon beer and 1 soup if you are very hungry if not... 1 for two people is enough. Do not waste your time with appetaizers, not because they are bad but the soups are the stars. It is not a fancy place and the service is just under OK. Soups... More
