This place was the ultimate in good quality fast food! So sorry it has closed down. I will miss it. Not much more to say other than maybe try smaller premises like you have in London.

I want to know why just because they've closed that they find it acceptable to fly-tip half of their closed restaurant's rubbish onto a local amateur sports club's ground? Disgraceful

What a shame this restaurant is closing. The French style steak and fries with sauce is such a treat. The service is excellent the food is well cooked and full of flavour. I do think the prices are over inflated, however, for food provided and that this is the principal reason that the restaurant has failed.

Visited with an open mind after reading poor reviews from Manchester Confidential critics. Won the meal in a charity raffle so went with the attitude we had nothing to lose. What a pleasant surprise! Simple well dressed salad to start, fresh bread, great red wine, steak cooked to perfection, crisp, hot french fries all served twice! Tart au citron for... More

Hopefully this restaurant won't close as threatened - unfortunately there are some people in Manchester who can't appreciate good food unless they can have ketchup with it, but it doesn't alter the fact that this restaurant does steak very well, in a classic format, and if that doesn't appeal then why are you going to a place that very clearly... Its such a shame that Manchester hasn't taken to this place as the food is top notch. You can pretend you are in some French Cafe on your summer holidays. The menu is limited, thats the concept, but its such good quality and lovely favours it works. Its a shame because as its never full it does lack atmosphere which... More

I visited this with colleagues on a mid week night. Whilst this is a very popular concept in London, the Manchester restaurant has absolutely zero atmosphere. The food is absolutely fine, but you don't just go to eat, you go to experience. I have never eaten in somewhere so utterly characterless. The service was slow, but there were about 8... More

The positives to L'Entrecote are: - it's a huge space with lots of tables for two crammed close together so its really easy for them to cater for parties of 2,4,6,8 etc without much rearranging of the furniture - we were able to walk in off the street without a reservation at 8.30pm on a Saturday night and be seated...
