Wild horses wouldn't drag me into this place!

My wife and I went last year. Food was very nice, service was ok but it's all a little formal for our taste but nevertheless a few weeks later we decided to pop in for lunch. We arrived at 2.20pm and we're told in a very off hand way that the kitchen was closed. When I pointed out that it... read more

Always my go to place for a romantic meal. The best dish would be the lobster. Can't fault the service.

Last Wednesday I spent my evening at 63 degrees and because of the perfect dinner I had at this lovely French restaurant, I would like to share my experience with other foodies like me!I had a black truffle risotto as a starter, guinea fown with morels as a main and a delicious chocolate orbit as a dessert: everything was absolutely... We've been meaning to dine at 63degrees for some time. In the meantime I have visited Bisous Bisous - it's patisserie in Didsbury which is well worth the visit. We opted for 2 sweet raspberry Valentine's cocktails, truffle risotto & snails starters, venison & lamb mains with cheese & tart to finish. All in all, very well executed & tasty.... More

I have to start be saying this has to be my favourite restaurant in Manchester. What I love about this place is it looks to underrated, you can barely see in the restaurant from the outside, so you wouldn't really know if it was quiet or busy. I hate more than anything being stuck by the window whilst people walk... More

We visited as a party of 4, early evening prior to a show so were slightly pressed for time, and having read other reviews mentioning slow service were just a tad worried. We needn't have been, all the dishes arrived without excessive waiting and the staff were friendly, attentive without being in the least overbearing and knowledgeable. The quality of... More

I was looking forward to dining here. I had read a couple of punishing reviews about the place in the national newspapers but more locally there seemed to be some good feedback. I had booked at the beginning of January for the last Saturday evening of the month and had received my confirmation e-mail from the ‘Business Development Manager’. Unfortunately... More

Dined here on a Saturday night for a special occasion. The food was great but for the price you pay, the whole experience didn't seem quite there. These are little things, but if you're paying £130+ then you expect things to run seamlessly. When we arrived, our table wasn't ready and had to wait another 10 minutes or so. When... More

Booked for a late Saturday lunch. It is a pretty, small restaurant. We chose from the excellent value set 2 course menu and added a cheese course. All the food was delicious. The lentil soup was superb; such a wonderful flavour. The guinea fowl was a stand out dish for my husband. Beautifully cooked and subtle yet clear flavours.Lovely wine... More
