Fabulous food. We were a bit concerned that the dishes on the tasting menu might not fill us up, but they really did. The chocolate bombe was particularly impressive with the warm chocolate melting the chocolate globe in front of our eyes. A smart but relaxed place. Will definitely go back.

If on leaving this delightful little restaurant I had found myself in a street in Paris, rather than the northern quarter of Manchester, I would not have been surprised. Everything here is so authentic. The wine list is supurb, I had a lovely rosé from provance, which I last came across in Nice. I had a duo of salmon first... More

First time at 63 degrees, albeit for lunch, and was blown away by the standard of cuisine and attention to detail. This restaurant is obviously geared for evening dining, as we were the only diners in at 1pm on a Friday. All I can say is that Manchester lunchtime diners are missing out on a great deal here...£18 for 2... More

After reading some other reviews we were a little worried about portions being small. Our experience was that portions are well balanced, not small, not large, and that the food is excellent. Really excellent. Good if not excellent front of house staff: friendly but far from intrusive. The food was first class. Good wine list. The pea cream starter is... More

We ate here as a special occasion recently and was unfortunately a little disappointed. We booked online which was straight forward and easy. The table we were seated at was nice and not crowded like others have mentioned on here and all was well until the food came. I ordered scallops, but I think what I was served were Queenies,... More

I was expecting fine dining. Whilst the food is nice enough it isn't fine dining. Service was friendly and good. Would I go back - no I don't think I would.

Hmmmmm, an interesting one. Four of us dined and two of us really enjoyed it, the other two were disappointed. We arrived early as we wanted to sit in the lounge area however it was a bit busy so we had to sit at our table, now this wouldn't have been an issue if service had been prompt, however we... More

I had high expectations as had a few recommendations. The bill came to £220 which included aperitif, wine and dessert wine. However for this money I expected near Michelin star standard and sadly this was nowhere near. The food was average, nothing of note and small portions, which isn't a problem if the flavours stand out. I would not return.... More

The place was very nice, the service excellent and food tasty. They also have relatively inexpensive but good champagne available.
