Fabulous Meal once again

We visited 63 degrees again on Saturday night and once again the food and service were first class, coupled with a excellent bottle of wine, made a memorable evening. The menu here is well conceived but the execution was poor. The chicken - a signature dish - was dry and dull, not worth eating. . The killing point is that the tap water ( very popular these days on environmental grounds) smelt of chlorine, as I understand water does in Manchester, but should never have been served unless filtered.... I had lunch here with a colleague and yet again the food and service were excellent. We both chose from the fixed price menu, which is excellent value for money. For starter, we chose the pea consommé - it was served with a lovely crisp bread, shaved Parmesan and a tiny poached egg. It was one of the nicest pea... More

Our second visit to 63 degrees, this time for lunch. Food was wonderfully presented with care taken in the detail of each dish. We had bream marinated in lime , gravlax , ,red mullet, rack of lamb, cheese board, chocolate fondant and Frazier. All presented and tasting fabulous. We were the only table in at the time we went 14.00... More

We visited this lovely little restaurant last night and thoroughly enjoyed the taster menu! Sadly, I had been feeling a little under the weather before arriving, but still managed to enjoy the gorgeous food and very attentive service. The wine my partner had was beautiful! Can't wait to go back!

We came on a Tuesday (2 adults in 30's) without reservation and it was quiet. We were well greeted and shown to our tables. The setting is good and the tables well presented. We had the taster menu @ £25 each and it was 5 courses which were presented beautifully and tasted beautiful. We drank the house white wine. I... More

The fish tartare starter was one of the tastiest dishes I have eaten in a long time. The fillet main was as requested rare well rested and cut like butter. Highly recommended all 4 of us enjoyed the food and the night immensely.

Excellent food and attentive service. However, the food was more a tasting menu rather dinner of starter, main and desert. My wife and I are thin to average built and not tall and not big eaters; but we had to home and have a platter of cheese because we were still hungry. We also had a rather raunchy couple sitting...
