I've often heard good things about The Parlour and can confirm that its positive feedback is indee deserved - visited several times now and the food has been excellent every single time. Combine this with The Parlour's atmosphere and location and you've got a winner!

This place is a dream 'local' - great jukebox, lovely staff, plenty of decent drinks on offer and pub food that is genuinely superb.

I've been here twice for Sunday lunch, and it's far and away my favourite place in Manchester for a roast. The beef! The gravy! Call me greedy, but I would like a couple more roast potatoes, but hey, I AM greedy! My one criticism is the general hecticness of the place means it's not the most relaxing meal ever, and... More

We go to the Parlour quite a lot & generally love it - the Sunday roasts are fab and there's a nice wine menu. On our last visit on a Saturday lunchtime I found the veggie options really disappointing - mozzarella & tomato salad or mozzarella & tomato toasted sandwich. I opted for the salad, but this had to be... More

Visited on Sunday and had a very good lunch - really impressed with the options on offer, the quality of food, and the value. However when we returned in the week we were disappointed. The food was very salty, the menu description was poor (no mention that the mash was actually mustard mash), and I felt I was over-paying. I... More

It was our first time here & we went on Saturday on the recommendation of friends – we absolutely loved it, good beer (elderflower scrumpy), really nice smiley staff, great food - I had fish, chips & mushy peas, they serve decent sized portions too – I had to take some home for the cat – who looked like he... One of the few things I "looked forward" to when I had to relocate from Spain was a good Sunday Roast in the pub on a Sunday. Of all the places I could have landed in the UK I found myself a 10 minute walk from a place that apparently won an award for theirs. Just a sensational feed, beautiful... More

Dined here recently, loads of atmosphere and the food was great. I had monkfish with a razor clam & prawn thermidor sauce, which was surprisingly light. Others had fish and chips (chips were bang on), burger (proper chorizo flavour) and a meat platter. Great!

I went there with some friends for a meal and has a really enjoyable evening. It has a lovely relaxed atmosphere and the smattering of tables outside is a bonus on the (occasional) summer evenings. But it's all about the food and I thought this was excellent. I opted for the burger, a simple enough dish but done as well... More

Heard great things about this place and the Sunday lunch serving size certainly didn't disappoint, but not the best Sunday lunch I've had. Service was good and meals arrived quickly.
