You get a decent amount of food, usual pub fodder, was a timewarp back to the 90's. Old Bloke in corner trumping! Don't take a date ok with a mate.

Having to conduct some business in town (14th January) I popped in for some refreshments, just before 11 am. The first characteristic was the clean smell of the premises. The bar, tables and gents toilets were spotless clean. £6.40 for a pint of Stella, a large mug of tasty coffee and a bacon buttie. Just what the Doctor ordered. The... More

Not too much to say unfortunately. Visited here on Tuesday 16th December '14 at just after 4.00pm. We'd travelled from North Wales to visit the Christmas markets. Decided to pop in for a quick drink on arrival, the bar was fairly quiet with two barmaids serving. One barmaid serving a group of men at the end of the bar and... More

We came across this pub by chance as we were looking for somewhere to have lunch. The sign outside with 2 meals for £8.50 tempted us to go in. The price seemed very reasonable compared with some of the places we had looked at in a more trendy area of the city. The menu was good and the meat pie... More

Called into The Lost Dene on Sunday to watch United v Liverpool whilst in the city for the Christmas Market. Great atmosphere and lovely staff. Service was quick and there was plenty of screens for a good view of the match. Only thing to let it down was the lack of ales on offer. Was looking forward to sampling some... More

This was my second visit to the Lost Dene and it got very noisy to the stage where you could barely hear what was being said. Food was good, and plentiful and the staff were polite as you would expect The downside - I went to visit the toilet and used the disabled toilet. The pathway and access to the... More

Nice reasonable priced food and an extensive menu to pick from. Plenty of tables and the food arrived quite quickly and was good. It was very busy for mid week and was quite cosy on a cold day in Manchester.

Was going well till the 'manager' appeared later on in the night and started throwing his weight about with people he didnt like the look of. Best part of 8 hours spent in this pub on a works day out, bar staff lovely, each of us tipping them everytine we bought drinks. Spent the best part of £500 in there... More

Called in to escape the hailstones. Got served pretty quickly even though it was full. Unfortunately sat near a noisy group who were shouting across each other but that couldn't be helped. Hopefully the hailstones will pass quickly. Beer very nice Lancaster bomber was on. Thumbs up for that.
