Visited The Lost Dene at the end of June with my partner for a spontaneous evening out, we decided it would be a good idea to start the evening on a full stomach and had been recommended The Lost Dene quite recently by a friend. So being the spontaneous souls we are, we thought here would be a great place... More

staff attitude shows if you have a problem. ( overworked and underpaid ) 6 of us went for cheap and cheerful food on saturday . One of the members plate was removed before he had even finished, he was sat at the table making a conversation with another group member and when he turned back his plate had gone! More... More

Visited here for lunch during a visit to Manchester. Service was really friendly and swift. Food arrived really quickly and tasted good. No complaints. Despite being on a busy road it was relatively quiet with a friendly atmosphere. Great value for money. Would visit again.

Served within a few minutes despite the footy being shown. Food was tasty and hot, and served fairly quickly. Cheap enough. Its a good place for a bit of pub grub and on a par with Wetherspoons for menus and similar prices but you get served far quicker here

We wanted a reasonably priced tasty lunch in a quiet corner, washed down with a decent pint or two! This is precisely what we got and more (table 52). Two meals for £7.95 turned out to be excellent value. We both plumped for steak and ale pie. Nice meat and gravy to die for and yummy mashed potato and peas.... More

Been a few times to have a bite to eat. At first I was wary as it does look a bit rough on the outside and dark inside but once inside it's not. Maybe a fresh lick of paint and a few more lights in areas. The food is reasonably priced and always hot. It's not a place I'd go... More
