Adequate

Called in here for late lunch, service was good. Food arrived fairly quickly was hot and tasty. Great value at only £9.49 for both meals.

Seemed a nice enough place but it was packed. Most seemed to be there for the beer and the soccer which was blaring out of several TV's Couldn't fault it if that's what you want. Definitely worth it for the beer prices.

Visited this place on a Saturday early evening when the football was on. Terrible mistake to visit during football, as they crammed more and more customers in with no care of capacity limits. We were lucky to get a table but people were practically sitting on our laps. Food service was dreadful, the portions were quick, dried up and cold... More

Me and my partner recently visited the lost dene, we ordered chicken and mushroom pie and chips, the wait for the meal was prolonged, the staff were clueless when i asked about the order and when the pie arrived it wasn't warm enough and the crust unfortunately was inedible, unfortunately I won't be returning...

Came here for food and drinks with friends. 2 separate orders and having ordered food 5 minutes before the 2nd order went in, our food hadn't arrived witchin 15 minutes of the second order. Spoke to a member of staff behind the bar who apologized stating there a lots of food orders being served ( though there were less than... More

It's one of those Weatherspoons type places that you can get a bite to eat and a drink for about six quid. I had the steak baggette with hot onions with chips and a pint of John Smiths. Don't know who had my hot onions cos mine were bordering on being raw. The place was busy but this should not... More

We were in town for the day and just needed a quick lunch stop. Saw the sign outside,2 meals for £9 or something like that so that was all the enticing we needed. Food was fine for the money and service was friendly enough . The pub is clearly set up for sports fans so don't go expecting The Ritz... More

Popped into the Lost Dent for a quick lunch before our spa appointment at Bannatyne's. Ordered the chicken and mushroom pie with chips and bbq chicken with bacon. The pie cruse was rock hard and the chicken inside the pie was tough. The bbq chicken was inedible. The chicken was dry and very difficult to cut. It seemed like a... More

Took my parents and daughter in for lunch at the Lost Dene while visiting Manchester to do The Tour at Coronation Street. Loved the atmosphere of the pub, beer good, reasonably priced meals, but they were luke warm. Had they have been piping hot, would have been further impressed by this little jewel.
