Came here Sat night in January 2016, we booked a table and place was full. Brought our own beer, nice that you can do that rather than pay stupid prices. Service was good, food was also good, jungle curry is a very spicy one, coming from someone who likes spicy stuff. Would go again, décor is not amazing, but who... More

The food is just average, not bad not good. The restaurants itself is very small the decor looks like from the 70's. They don't serve alcohol but you can bring your own and they even put it into the fridge. Some reviewers complained about the service I found the service very attentive.

This restaurant was very disappointing which makes me wonder about the 'authenticity' of the reviews on here. My pad Thai was very disappointing. The tiny amount of chicken tasted processed as if it had been boiled then added to the wok at the end. My ribs were tiny and lacked any element of Thai spices or herbs. Given the prices... More

Having eaten in so many Thai places I feel this was a let down. Went with a friend who used to love it years back. The Red curry which is a standard great curry to savour was a complete let down..was very very thin and lacked the consistency of a good curry and felt watered down. The fish cakes didn't... More

I took my partner here after ages reading reviews on here of Thai places to eat in Manchester and kept seeing rave reviews plus I saw it was BYOB so I thought fab! It doesn't look like much inside but that's never really something I would downrate a place for, however from the start the customer service was just poor.... More

Wandering through Chinatown, we saw a sign for this Thai restaurant. We walked up the stairs and through the door. The décor is quite dowdy but the staff were welcoming. We ordered some soft drinks and made our selections from the menu. The food was good and there was plenty of it, but managed to eat virtually all the dishes... More

Ate here on a Saturday evening. Another review said we should book in advance, so we knocked on the door at about 3pm and reserved a table for 8.30. The food was great, as was the service. As it's bring your own drink we paid a few pounds at a nearby shop for a few bottles, rather than the £4-5... More

Thai food is a big favourite of mine, every city I visit I try a Thai restaurant. Phetpailin was ok but only ok. I've eaten better for a similar price. Starters and soup were good but main course disappointed. Weeping tiger was quiet dry and a bit over cook despite being asked to it should be done and sticky rice... More

This used to be a bit of a well-kept secret amongst Thai food enthusiasts in the North, however word of mouth has meant that this restaurant is now extremely popular, so booking is recommended, especially on the weekend. The food is incredible. The flavours are complex and subtle, as Thai food should be. Gently perfumed and well balanced, and not... More
