Our first visit to this restaurant. Lovely welcoming staff. Nice atmosphere. Really good food. Dolmathes and Haloumi starters both excellent. Greek village salads with chargrilled chicken - lots of lovely feta, very fresh salad selection. Far too big portion but generosity is never a bad thing. Very good value for money. We would definitely go back again.

We are regular visitors to papa g's and can honestly say we have always had an excellent meal. Angelo, Vaz and all the staff are friendly and efficient nothing is ever too much trouble. The food is wholesome and well prepared. I think we have tried nearly everything on the menu, and enjoyed every one of them. For starters enjoy... More

The plan was to eat somewhere nice and quick but my wife loves Papa G's so I thought ok. I have been here before but not for a long time. We had the flat bread and dips to start and the. My wife had the Greek garden pizza and I had the Greek burger. Absolutely phenomenal. Everything was freshly made.... More

As someone who eats a lot I popped into Papa G's on a visit back up north to catch up with friends expecting an average Greek meal but I was blown away by the quality and quantity of the food. The restaurant is a relaxing environment and the waiting staff are very friendly and attentive but not overly in your... More

Our second visit to Papa G's after coming last year, even though it was early on Friday night the restaurant was busy, but we didn't wait long after getting drinks and waiting, still same great place. Souvlaki tasty and just right amount, service friendly and attentive, atmosphere great. Kids burger arrived in mini versions and pancake with choc ice cream... More

I was taken here by a couple of work colleagues whilst in Manchester. My first experience of Papa G's and one which I will remember. The place was very quiet so we got an attentive waiter (possibly the owner) who had shared some light banter with the group. I had the Mixed Grill Souvlaki which brought back fond memories of... Went for a quick lunch before heading home from Manchester. Was fairly quiet but the service was still brilliant and not too in your face. Food was lovely. The sesame halloumi was gorgeous. Will definitely go again because it wasn't too expensive and nice food.

Went to papa g's last night with friends for a meal for my birthday. The food was amazing, I had chicken souvlaki which was gorgeous, other half had mixed souvlaki and friends had steaks. All of us were blown away by how nice the food was. The staff are great, everyone sang happy birthday to me and they brought over... More

We picked this restaurant and were very pleasantly surprised. The menu and restaurant looked good but it exceeded our expectations. The food was tasty and well presented, a great variety of interesting items. The service was very friendly and efficient - we had a good chat with the maitre d' about the family business. An excellent dinner and well worth... More
